The food that was served to us wasn’t very good unfortunately and we came back three times cause it was close to us. First, the vegan sausage (Chả lua Chay) that is put in almost every meal is just unbearably bad. I wish vegetarian/vegan restaurants would use tofu instead of that. I legitimately don’t understand the high ratings because we didn’t like most of the food there sadly. Two stars for the friendly staff (although they brought us something we didn’t order the first time but didn’t charge us for it).
We tried: -Cao Lau (it was ok, but it has the processed fake meat in it, the ‘Chả lua’) -Cháo cù quà hat: it tasted a bit burnt the two times I had it, but I actually really like it otherwise. The first time I had the soup there was beans and mushrooms in it which wasn’t there the second night I had it though. -KFC mushroom & french fries (needed more salt but otherwise good) -Bún Thai (thai noodles): not creamy but watery, didn’t like the taste of the soup, it had basic steamed veggies in it, don’t recommend. -Fresh spring rolls: we really didn’t like them unfortunately. It didn’t taste fresh, it tasted very sour and the fake meat tasted very bad. Didn’t like the sauce. Don’t recommend. Unedible in my opinion, my partner forced himself to finish it, I couldn’t eat it. I think it was almost all the same ingredients as the banh mi. -Banh mi: they don’t taste good! Cucumbers look like they’re going bad, sour tasting veggies and again they had the fake meat Chả lua Chay that I really dislike. Sauce taste bad. Don’t recommend! We had to throw these away cause they...
Read moreI came to the restaurant impressed how beautiful it was unfortunately my order was simply ignored. Right after me a big group of Russians came. They all got served before me. If you are a solo traveler AVOID this place. I ordered the curry soup it was small and literally only sweet potatoes inside and 8 small beans!!! Just don't order it its watery small not like any curry at all.Other dishes looked much nicer and bigger .I also ordered french fries. As I said I had to wait and food was only delivered to me after the whole big group. I felt ignored. I really feel this is lack of education. I used to work in a restaurant and I would never do it to any customer. In fact I am still sitting here and waiting for a portion of french fries while the big group got served all before me even I came first and ordered first. Avoid unless you come with a big group of ppl. Only after inasked to pay the bill they brought I a portion of tiny french fries after r 25 minutes. Just wasted my evening. And definitely will never go back to that place. I feel it's simply stupid to provide food for 8 ppl who...
Read moreTỉnh Quán is a small, cosy vegan restaurant with a serene atmosphere in Da Nang that feels like coming home to have a family meal.
My husband and I ordered Bún Riêu and Cơm Dĩa, both of which were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The Bún Riêu was hearty and flavorful, with a generous amount of tofu and vegetables. The Cơm Dĩa was light and fluffy, with a perfect balance of sweet and savoury flavours. The portions were generous, and we were both able to finish our meals without feeling too full.
The prices at Tỉnh Quán are reasonable. We were charged VND 65.000 for our two dishes, which is a fair price for the quality and quantity of food we received. However, I did notice that the menu prices were a bit misleading. The Bún Riêu and Cơm Dĩa are both listed as being VND 30.000 each. This was not a major issue, but it is something to keep in mind next time I come to this place.
The service at Tỉnh Quán was average. The staff was friendly and calm.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a lovely, quiet place to enjoy some great...
