That day (16/6/2025) , my family came to experience the restaurant based on reviews we saw on TikTok. We ordered four dishes in total — three for the hotpot and one cooked dish, which was grilled oysters. The restaurant took our order at 7:30 PM. We had to call and remind them more than 20 times. Every staff member who walked by kept asking if our table had received our food yet. But none of them followed up or gave us any feedback. They didn’t even seem to know what we had ordered, even though everything was already clearly listed in the menu and on the bill. Honestly, it was quite a terrible experience. We were traveling, and all we hoped for was a decent meal so we could go explore other places afterward. But due to poor restaurant management and unresponsive staff, we ended up sitting there for 2–3 hours just for dinner. We completely lost the time we had planned for exploring other places in Da Nang. It made us feel like we were begging to be served rather than paying customers using a service. Definitely not a place I would recommend. When we brought up the issue of the extremely slow food service with the manager, they blamed it on the restaurant being crowded and offered no real solution other than just saying sorry. Moreover, the manager showed a lack of enthusiasm and seemed unwilling to handle the issue properly. So, if you’re looking for a seafood restaurant where you can be well served, enjoy your meal, and relax, Năm Đảnh is definitely not the...
Read moreNam Danh Seafood is hands down one of the best seafood spots in Da Nang. Tucked away in a quiet alley, it’s a true hidden gem—no fancy decorations, just fresh, incredibly delicious seafood at unbeatable prices. It’s packed with locals, which is always a good sign.
The menu is extensive, with everything from grilled scallops to steamed clams, mantis shrimp, and crispy-fried squid. Every dish is packed with flavor, and you can tell the seafood is fresh. The grilled oysters with cheese are a must-try, and the stir-fried morning glory with garlic is the perfect side. Prices are ridiculously cheap for the quality, especially compared to the more touristy seafood restaurants by the beach.
Service is fast and efficient, but don’t expect luxury treatment—it’s a busy, no-frills local spot where the focus is purely on the food. Since it’s so popular, it can get crowded, so coming early or being patient is a good idea.

Read moreNam Danh Seafood in Da Nang was a delightful change of pace from my usual diet of pho and banh mi. On a rainy Monday afternoon, a friend recommended we try this spot for lunch, and I’m glad I followed their advice.
The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back seafood feast. I let my friend do the ordering, and we ended up with a fantastic spread: crabs, squid, prawns, and snails. The highlight had to be the snails in a rich, buttery garlic sauce that was simply addictive. Every dish was fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor, showcasing the quality of the ingredients.
For all this, the total bill came out to around $26 for both of us—an incredible deal considering the variety and quality of the meal. As a thoughtful touch, after we finished, the staff gave us a ride on a golf cart to a spot closer to where we could pick up our ride, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
If you’re in Da Nang and craving fresh, delicious seafood, Nam Danh is definitely worth a visit. I’ll...
