Minh Chien Hotel — Hotel in Da Lat City

We had the room on the 2nd floor which looked very nice but from 5am until the end of the day there is a very strong and linear sound because the kitchen is just above which makes it very noisy, impossible to sleep and relax. They changed us room to put us B2 (there is a window as it is on an hill) but it was a little smaller and the bed was just next the bathroom and at the head of the bed (and mostly there) it was smelling very strongly moistures (impossible to sleep). We asked to do something, they put some products (a bit aggressive for the nose after a few times) which took of the smell for a few hours and then it was again and again. The last day, there was an additional terrible smell from the bathroom, we would not let the door open and barely breathe there as it was horrible. The breakfast was really poor and not that good. When we booked, it was written that we had access to a late check in (we chose it partly for this) but when we wanted to confirm with them, they said no (which updated me a lot) and that usually even if we don’t have it we can stay 1h more but they were fully booked so no. They say in the welcome book in the room that they do the laundry but it is not true, they can if we « oblige » them but they want to discourage people by having a price per clothe we put and a very high so we went to Blue Wash...

Excellent customer service from all staff.Room was almost new and very clean.Breakfast was good.Omelette station and PHO soup station were nice touch.For the price of $32 definitely worth it.My suggestion is to put cup and teaspoon on table for hot cofffee.Overall,room and stay were good.||Breakfast staff Minh and Chuc and Le ,and Tuan were all great! Phuc And Uyen in reception area were very helpful.Luggage’s was delivered to our room.Motorbike rental (150,000Viet)was arrange by Uyen.Their motorbikes look newer and no need to stress out to find rentals.You can park it in garage overnight with NO extra charge.Makes our stay in DALAT very convenient.You definitely need the semi-automatic motorbikes to visit Datanla Waterfalls(Alpine coaster) and do some loops.|Thank you...

We (family of 4) were at another hotel initially (people we knew of) but was very unhappy, so we searched for another hotel at comparable and competitive price. Minh Chien hotel did not disappoint. It was clean, drain was not clogged, bathroom was not always wet, lighting was bright, service was good (phone service was great too when I called them to confirm bathroom facility), and breakfast was limited to only a few items but for the price it was great. The only down was we asked for more toilet paper and it took them almost a day to organise after multiple requests. The hotel is also in a very small alley way but that’s part of the lower price.
