I recently stayed at a hotel in Da Lat during my trip to Vietnam, and I must say it was the worst hotel experience out of the three I stayed at. The pictures on Tripadvisor were completely misleading, as the reality of the hotel did not match the photos at all.
Firstly, the description claimed that the suite was 1345 sq. feet, but in reality, it was nowhere near that size. The rooms were small, and the duplex was filled with errors. The cups provided were not clean, and to my horror, the shower head on the ceiling came off while my mom was showering, narrowly missing her head. Furthermore, the water from the shower area even seeped out of the toilet door, creating a mess.
Another major issue was the location of the rooms. They were actually separate from the main reception lobby and situated in a back alley with a steep road. This was extremely inconvenient, especially considering my mom had difficulty walking and was using a cane. Despite her condition, the hotel insisted she walk to the rooms. As a result, she was confined to the hotel most of the time due to the excessive walking required, which was particularly challenging for someone with knee pain.
To make matters worse, at the end of our stay, we were asked to give a five-star review on Agoda because the staff claimed their boss would provide them with a free lunch if they received such a review. While I sympathize with the hardworking staff, it is unacceptable to deceive tourists in this manner. The hotel needs significant improvements in its structural aspects, and they should refrain from misleading guests about their facilities.
Overall, I was highly disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I hope that they take these criticisms seriously and make the necessary changes to provide a better experience for...
Read moreIt is our first trip to Vietnam and we decided to spend 4 days 3 nights at Dalat, which is known for its natural scenary, cool temperature and more slow paced compared to Ho Chi Minh. ||The location of the hotel is good as it is walking distance (10 to 15 min) to Lam Vien Square (near to Xuan Huong Lake) where you can access to supermart, shopping, cafe and eateries. Also it is still within walking distance to the famous night market. ||We stayed at 2 bedroom executive. Do note that it is 2 storey but the floor area is not as spacious as it looks in the picture. However, it is well equipped with kitchen, fridge and washing machine on the ground floor. There are one King bed on the ground floor and 2 twin beds on the second floor. One thing to note (as you have read from other reviews) that the apartment is situated at the back alley, with a very steep slope down and the La Fluer reception shop is at the main road. So it will be a challenge for elderly folks to walk up and down the slope. ||I would rate the service standard to be above average. The ladies staff (morning shift) were particularly helpful and goes out of the way to help, including providing extra tissue pack and big tube of drinking water upon our request. And they are very receptive to our feedback as we noticed cockroaches on our first night and they took effort to clean up the place the following day. ||Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its location. Specially the nearby bakery shop and cafe (selling traditional vietnamese coffee) is excellent choice for our breakfast during our stay. The hotel also helps to call for private hire car to airport at a...
Read moreFirst time visiting Dalat. 4 family members. 3 bedrooms and 3 bath rooms. While there were various choice of accommodations to choose from, we chose Le Fleur, considering many reasons. Location: 10min walk from Go Dalat, 15min walk from the night market. 5mins from the pond. Pretty convenient. But it is located far enough from these main attraction points to enjoy peaceful, silent night. Layout: View: Didn't really expected this, but the view is absolutely fantastic, especially from the second floor window, both day and night. Layout: A bathroom for each bedroom. This was really convenient, since our party consisted of three ladies who takes forever to get ready in the morning. Service: The reception service was fantastic. They were always kind, always doing their best when we asked for a favor/had an inquiry and so. Language: This is pretty personal reason, but reception's English is good enough for even the detailed communication. Clear communication, especially when traveling a foreign country where English isn't common really is big relief for me. In all, great accommodation, comfy, convenient, kind, and with just enough vibe to enjoy Dalat. (+) I strongly recommend the coffee that can be bought at the reception. Loved the scent and the taste!
Also Dylan has been a great help! I appreciate his ever helpful attitude, even at the...
