If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a nightmare.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear we had made a huge mistake. The apartment reeked of something foul—imagine a mix between mildew, sewage, and something that died a week ago. It hit us like a wall when we opened the door.

The staff? Rude beyond belief. Not just unhelpful—hostile. They acted like we were inconveniencing them just by existing. To top it off, they charged us an extra hidden fee, then had the audacity to accuse us of not paying it—despite the fact that the maid came, took the payment, and clearly confirmed it. Instead of resolving the issue, one of the staff members got aggressive, like we were criminals trying to scam them. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get worse… we found a gecko crawling on the wall inside the apartment. Not outside. Inside. It might be normal in the wild, but in a place I’m paying money to sleep in? Absolutely not.

Avoid this place like the plague. You’d be better off camping in the woods—at least the raccoons are...

We book the apt with lake view and they give us another apartment facing the oposite site with a dirty canal view, a construction project making noise during the day and at night , right under the apartment is a bar/club blasting music till 1 this am plus Indian restaurant in the same side which covers the whole building with that smell.. not only that an AC tube outside is not properly attached to the wall and bang all day and night long so no only we didn’t get the view we booked but also have to spend our vacations dealing with all of these. The apartments are modern and cleanliness I would say 8/10 , great beds, kitchen is nice but not properly stocked with utensils, one of the shower were clogged , wear down towels we have to request new ones right away that was the only fast response from the management for all the other issues not solution at all , apt also have laundry machine which is convenient. I would say if I get the apartment I booked this review could be 4 starts at least but getting the wrong apt is a 1 start for me and giving them 2 because the apt...

Title: Scammed, screamed at, lied to — worst stay ever in Hanoi

We paid the full amount, yet the owner of Luxe Pardies Residence lied and claimed we only paid 4 million. He started screaming at us like we were criminals — verbally abusive, threatening, and completely unprofessional.

This was the worst stay I’ve ever had. We booked a river-view room, but they gave us a back room facing a swamp and trash area. There were frogs croaking all night, the area smelled horrible, and it was like a literal dump.

The apartment was filthy: • Stained, smelly bedsheets • Hair and sticky stuff in cupboards • A gecko/lizard came out of the bathroom • No proper cleaning, just pure disgust

And when we asked for the room we actually booked, they demanded more money. Total scam. No one helped at check-in, we waited outside with our luggage, the door was locked, and they were literally asleep when we called.

This is not hospitality — it’s a scam, a threat, and a disgrace. Zero stars. Avoid this place...
