We had high expectations based on your advertised 5-star rating and positive reviews, our experience unfortunately did not align with that standard.||Upon arrival, we encountered immediate confusion. There was no clear signage or staff presence to direct guests from the street-level drop-off point to the hotel lobby. We were left standing at the entrance with our luggage for several minutes before a security guard finally noticed us and instructed us to wait while he ran to fetch someone from the lobby. ||This lack of guidance set an unfortunate tone for the rest of our stay. A simple desk or welcome station at street level, or even improved signage, would have easily resolved this issue and made a far better first impression.||A major frustration during our stay was the handling of our bed configuration request. We had requested a queen bed in the second bedroom during the original booking, followed up with an email the day prior to arrival, and made a final in-person request during our stay. On the second attempt (via email), we were told the beds were fixed in place and could not be changed. However, upon arrival we discovered this was not accurate, the beds were clearly movable.|We again requested to have the beds in the second bedroom either joined or replaced with a queen bed. Initially, we were informed that this could be arranged. However, upon returning from a day out, we were told that combining the beds was “too dangerous.” When we then asked whether a queen bed could be brought in instead, we were told it was “too much work.”|This response was deeply disappointing, especially given that the same request had been communicated clearly at the time of booking, in a follow-up email prior to our arrival, and again during our stay. What should have been a simple and reasonable request and one that could have easily been addressed before check-in. It was ultimately dismissed without a meaningful solution.|As a result, one of our family members felt compelled to pack their belongings and move to another hotel for two nights at their own expense, simply to get a proper night’s rest ahead of a 9+ hour international flight. This situation not only caused unnecessary inconvenience and cost but also reflects a level of service that falls well short of the expectations associated with a 5-star property.||While we commend the beautifully presented lobby, restaurants, and shared grounds, the apartment itself felt quite tired and in need of updating. The bedrooms were in particular need of a fresh coat of paint, and the second bathroom had a door that opened directly onto the air conditioning return units, which felt more like a maintenance area than a guest bathroom. The showerheads were loose and struggled to stay in place, which made basic use inconvenient.||In summary, while certain aspects of the property were visually appealing, the lack of attentiveness to detail, the dismissive handling of a repeated request, and the overall condition of the apartment did not reflect a...

I have stayed in many Fraser properties across the globe, and I can confidently say this one is one of the most stunning of them all - especially thanks to the million-dollar views of the stunning west lake and the landscape around it that most rooms come with! Also, this can easily compete with Luxury hotels as much as with serviced residences as it radiates lavish luxury and delivers fine hospitality from the minute you check in until you check out! And the wonderful staff elevates the luxury to the next level. The views from the room were so wonderful (especially allowing you to enjoy the magic of Monsoon), I never left the room to even explore the city! Be warned, you can easily become a homebody if you check in to this fabulous residence!
LOCATION: Located on the fringe of West Lake with easy access to all key points of interest, and a ton of Food and drink options nearby.
DINE + DRINK: I didnt try the breakfast so cannot comment. But the highlight of the stay was the Spectacular Rooftop Lounge (SKY LOUNGE) which will take your breath away. A perfect spot for an evening sundowner or a morning coffee with million-dollar views. Easily one of the most stunning rooftop bars not just in Vietnam, but all of Asia - A Hidden gem!
ROOM: I stayed in Room 1219, which was a 1 bedroom suite, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Very spacious suite with a big Living room that comes with a special Dining area and a decent kitchen(with a big refrigerator, microwave, etc but no Oven) and an equally big Bed Room. enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Sweeping views of the West Lake from both the living room windows and Bedroom windows. AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: JHuge stunner of a bathroom that is luxurious and has a lovely Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent Spa quality Toiletries
FACILITIES: A Very good Gym with a good range of weights and Cardio machines for a fine workout. They also have a local gym called ELITE FITNESS Center attached to the hotel building. The Swimming pool is pretty decent too.
SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to the Front desk staff and the lovely ladies at the SKY LOUNGE rooftop bar
HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in...
Read moreMy wife and I checked in on 11th Oct, shortly after the destruction of Typhoon Yagi. We made the right choice to stay with Fraser Suites and it was very well managed with the staff well trained. We found the room super clean and with plenty of space as it also has a dining and sitting area. The bed was comfortable and the toilet big enough for us. The Chambermaid done a superb cleaning job and that made our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the golf on their tv and the comfort of the sitting area. Overall, the facilities were super, nice well-equipped gym, nice roof top swimming pool in the new wing, great restaurant serving well curated food and also excellent breakfast. Despite being super busy over the weekend, the staff in the restaurant tried their level best to provide excellent service. Their tiredness did not deter them from serving our each request. In our numerous travel destinations, we always observed if the hotel establishment is well managed through the conduct of the staff. In Fraser Suites, perhaps due to the great Vietnamese hospitality but I assessed more out from the superb management, this hotel gave you a super home-coming feeling even in my first visit. The GM was supervising her staff through her walk about and observing. Both my wife and I were thoroughly impressed and appreciative of the show of hospitality from the doormen upwards. Signing in was fast, so was signing out of the hotel. Thank you Fraser Suites for giving us a great...
