Maidza Hotel — Hotel in Hà Nội

as the lake is hugh, had a challenge to select the hotel stay as this was my second time to hanoi but first time to reside near the lake... there are many great hotel names around and as i am more budget conscious, i finally made up my mind with maidza...||||location is a little tricky if u come by taxi from the train station as there are 2 Yen Phu street so make sure you mention tay ho to them. it is along a busy street with stalls selling local dishes and pho... it takes few minutes to reach the lake and about 10mins to the nearby famous tran quoc temple... taxi to the airport takes about 40mins...||||room was clean, a bit small but the balcony was good to tune off with the breeze and view... wifi worked well throughout the day... breakfast was buffet style mainly local food, but they also offers cheese and breads... you can also request for eggs/pho at their specialty section... ||||service wise, not too bad... but they are not able to allow us to do an early checking so we paid half the price no worries... just make sure you do a check on your payment as the staff had a mistake of charging us a full night despite paid online... friendly mr. ky helped us with the computer and can be quite chatty with the tour packages the hotel offers... ||||if you are not too picky on the hotel standard, generally this hotel is recommended to families, budget and solo...

Stayed here for 1 night only but I really got much of impressive memory. Firstly, when you came to hotel, it was late, around 11-11.30 pm, but the young man receptionist was still did our procedure check in very fast with smile. Then we order supper to our room because of long flight tired, the bell man served us 15 minutes later and did not forget to say :"have good dinner"! We read a lot of comment about the hotel view from the high floor but we were so tired to experienced it even we were set up in the highest floor with lake view with the receptionist said, anyway, it is really worth to offer upper floor. The breakfast was amazing with much of choices but the restaurant located in base floor without window, and it seems quite small for a big group have breakfast in the same time. When we checked out, the man from sales department ask us about our stay, food and everything with a really good attitude and chat with us while waiting for the car to airport. It is probably his business to take care their customer but we still feel happy and was fell treated like a boss ^_^. It is a comfy hotel with nice breakfast, friendly & helpful staff, comfy rooms, nice location.||||However, I was there January which is winter, and it is sometimes 10 degree outside.||||I book the hotel because of the bathtub, and I called to confirm. What I want to do is to sink myself in a bathtub with hot water after the entire day of outdoor activities. ||||However when it comes to real, they told me capacity of the hot water reservoir is too small so I have to wait 30 minutes before it get hot again. The problem is, after 30 minutes, whatever water in the bathtub become cold again. So you have to wait for another 30 minutes.||||Finally I decided not to wait so I take shower, but it is so stressful because the reservoir can only last roughly 10 minutes of continuous hot water, so I have to put my I phone there and time my shower time.||||Everything is good, but the shower...
