This place is something truly special. My partner and I have traveled to over 40 countries and stayed in countless hotels, but we’ve never had an experience like this one.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by Hi, one of the family members who runs this hotel. She’s not just kind — she makes you feel like you’ve come home. And honestly, that’s exactly what this place has become for us.
Originally, we booked just two weeks and planned to try a few different hotels around Hoi An (we’re digital nomads and love exploring). But after a few days here, we knew we didn’t want to leave. It’s now been four weeks, and we’re still here — and loving it.
Hi and her husband Phi are the heart of this place. And Phi’s breakfast? Absolutely next-level.
My favorite part is the local Vietnamese dishes he cooks each morning. You can choose from options like Pho, Cao Lau, and Mi Quang noodles — and I genuinely love all of them. My partner Freddie is obsessed with the Cao Lau (if you’re a pork lover, don’t miss it!).
On top of that, you get fresh juice every day — I personally love the pineapple one. And there are Western options too: pancakes, omelets, bacon. Every single morning, we enjoy one of the local dishes plus eggs, bacon, fresh juice, and coffee. We eat a lot, but we never get tired of it — in fact, I could happily keep eating Phi’s cooking forever.
We’ve stayed in three different rooms during our time here, and all of them were spotless, beautifully designed, and full of natural light. The garden is also magical — flowers, trees, birds, and a lovely pool. It’s incredibly peaceful and perfect for working or relaxing.
From the street, the hotel looks like a hidden gem — and that’s exactly what it is. A calm, quiet sanctuary in Hoi An, run by people who truly care.
We now catch ourselves saying, “Let’s go home,” when heading back here. And that...
Read moreGreat experience as a couple. Upon arrival, Hai informed us that she had moved us to a room further away from the street so our stay would be more peaceful. She was very friendly and helpful for the duration of our 4 day stay. Told us more about the available activities and organised free of charge bicycles for us, and even a cooking class that was very interesting. She makes an effort to speak to the guests to make sure they are okay and if they need anything. There is also a swimming pool that we used almost every day, even multiple times. The heat can be unbearable so having the option to jump in the pool is awesome and the most refreshing thing you can do.
The breakfast menu has a selection of fresh fruit, local food, and also eggs, coffee and juices etc… the food is great. The rooms are lovely and it is in a quiet location. It is well placed between the beach and the old town, it is about a 10min bicycle ride either way, and bicycles are provided by the villa. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and grateful to Hai and everyone else who took good care of us. We are very sad to leave and will definitely return in the future.
PS, there is also a puppy that will say hello to you when you eat breakfast.
Thank you Hai &...
Read moreWhat makes a place even more beautiful is the people you meet there. Hai and the team were amazing. It made this beautiful, peaceful escape in the bustling Hoi An feel like paradise.
We came here for my partner's birthday and it was the best place we've stayed in Vietnam. The rooms were big and beautifully decorated. The garden is peaceful and tropical, very well groomed. I was in awe at the plants and jungle feel around the pool.
What made it even more special was our host Hai, Great humor and straight forward. She created an atmosphere in the place which made it a friendly place for guests to chat and interact. As a result we also got to know a few of the other guests in passing. This is rare in a lot of places we stayed. Not only did we get to meet and enjoy Hais company, it also allowed us to meet and learn from others who had been travelling around to different places.
Hoi An old town is too busy, this was a lovey escape from that, with all the amenities you need close by, easy cycle to yoga and ice bath, beach, old town, basket boats.
Recommendation would be to cycle on the quieter roads or along rice fields. Maps always sends you on the main busy road.
Looking forward to...
