UNO Hoi An Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Hội An

Uno mistake! We only ended up in this place as it was nearby our hotel and we didn't want to go to the town in the heavy rain. The menu is limited, and all Western food. We ordered fries and chicken tenders. It was a BAD bar food. Fries didn't look freshly cooked, they were burned and covered in oil. We ordered whiskey sour, which also wasn't great and overpriced comparing to other places in Hoi An that served much better whiskey. We asked the waiter to make it stronger as you could barely taste any alcohol. He acknowledged our request and brought another two exactly same drinks.

Thank you for taking time to respond to my review. You mention your "dirty fries" are your best seller ( I wish I took a photo of state of those fries!). I understand loads of people do like junk food. I m not one of them. You also mentioned that it's first negative comment you got about your fries. I won't read all the reviews, but customer who left the review prior to mine had exactly same feedback, so perhaps you should look into...

We went for a dinner as per Google's review recommendation. The menu is limited, but that okay, it a pub food. We ordered beef cheese burger, chicken burger, French fries, french mac and cheese and some drinks.

The waiter was nice and welcoming.

The beef cheese burger came uncocked and returned, they recooked the same pattie and served again. The french fries were served full of oil and not crispy, they were returned and recooked, returned hotter, either more oily and burned. The mac n cheese was ok. In addition, this place overpriced for the local compared prices and the quality is very inferior.

If you want some western atmosphere this is your place. But I will not recommend...

New restaurant that just opened earlier this month. I've been there a few times and have had a great experience each visit. They have a new pool table and plenty of decks of cards to help pass the time. The beers are cheap. The food is great. I recommend any of their macaroni and cheese dishes.
