You have to stay here! Phuc's beautiful homestay is the best place I have ever stayed travelling. It feels like home, and her and her family are the most lovely and welcoming people! When you leave it's like saying goodbye to your friends, I will definitely be back 😍 I stayed in the dorm; the beds are (not bunk beds!) comfy and the sheets are of good quality. There are fans above the beds and lockers and a little fridge. There is an aircon unit but we didn't need it on as the high ceiling keeps the place nice and cool. The bathroom is a nice layout with a hot shower and seperate toilet with shower gel etc provided which was a really nice touch. The pool is one of the nicest I've seen, with an elegant and yet local design, perfect for sitting in to read during the hot part of the day. There is a little common area by the reception with fans and comfy chairs and a table where you also can get home cooked food and breakfast (you HAVE to try the banana pancakes, the best I've ever tasted 😍). The whole place has lots of plants and a very relaxed vibe with loungers and places to chill out in the sun or shade. The garden with the chooks is to the side of the pool and dorm and is very attractive to the eye. As previously mentioned, Phuc and her family are also lovely and are constantly looking out for you as well as making improvements to the homestay. A 15 min cycle into town is not far at all, and there are around 5 bikes I think that you can borrow. The wifi is consistent and fast. They have a funny little puppy who loves to say hello :) All in all, an amazing and beautiful place to stay. I will definitely be back and will recommend to all of my friends :) thankyou so much for...
Read moreAfter a month in Da Nang, where the bustling city vibe wasn’t quite what I was looking for, I stumbled across this hidden gem in Hội An. I’ve now spent the past couple of months here, and it’s been an incredible home base. Ideally located just a 10-minute bike ride from town, the markets, and the beach, this spot offers an authentic village experience right in the heart of rice fields—peaceful and beautifully scenic.||The rooms are thoughtfully designed with bamboo furniture, a comfortable bed, and high ceilings. With both a fan and air conditioning, as well as screen doors for a nice breeze, it’s the perfect setup. The lighting is lovely, with dimmable drop-down lights that add a warm touch. The bathroom is fantastic, offering both an indoor and outdoor tropical shower, which I found to be such a treat! There’s also a smart TV and a small fridge for added convenience.||One of the best features is the pool and garden right outside the front door, which doubles as a café from 8 am to 4 pm (Eco coffee & restaurant). The coffee and food are top-notch, with heaps of options and it’s a great spot to relax or get some work done. While there’s also a shared kitchen onsite, I rarely needed it with such great café options right there.||Phúc and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. They’re always around if you need anything, and they’ve made my stay feel like I’m part of the family - it feels a bit like a mini retreat. Phúc even offers an excellent cooking class onsite, which is definitely worth trying.||In summary, this is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic experience close to everything Hội An has to offer. I can’t...
