I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hostel in Hoi An, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, Lan and Martin made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and genuine care for their guests. The hostel itself had a cozy atmosphere that instantly put me at ease, and I found it incredibly easy to strike up conversations and make friends with fellow travelers.
The location was ideal, being just a stone's throw away from the beach and a scenic 20-minute bike ride through the rice fields from the bustling old town of Hoi An. This meant I could easily explore the city's rich history and vibrant culture while still enjoying the laid-back vibe of beach life.
But what truly made my stay unforgettable were Lan, Martin, and the other guests I met there. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure that everyone felt welcome and comfortable, whether it was recommending the best local eateries or organizing fun activities for us to enjoy together. Their genuine passion for hosting and creating memorable experiences for their guests was evident in every interaction.
Overall, I can't recommend this hostel enough for anyone looking for a home away from home in Hoi An. With great hosts, a friendly atmosphere, and a fantastic location, it's the perfect place to create lasting memories and...
Read moreWe ended up here after cancelling a stay at another hostel early, and it was honestly the best thing that happened on our trip. We seriously loved our two nights at nalani’s. It was super chill, unfussy and really friendly. The walls are covered in notes and artwork from previous guests sharing how much they loved their stay, which I think says it all. The staff were all lovely, and went above and beyond and we met some really nice people who were staying. Breakfast is free & free Tea/coffee (we had a very nice tofu banh mi and choc banana pancakes, and robusta coffee with condensed milk) which means that everyone comes down to the kitchen and sits together. It’s really social and wholesome. You’re welcome to have your own food, and they also have snacks and drinks to buy at a reasonable price. We organised to do a sunrise SUP with them which was beautiful (see pics).
We stayed in the 4 bed female dorm which was super clean, with an en-suite bathroom with shower and free shower gel. The AC was really good. Lockers with keys for valuables, laundry service and bikes for hire.
We spent ages chilling by the pool, and the beach is 4mins away. A short grab into town.
Tldr: Chilled vibes, authentic and the best...
