Guesthouse THANH — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

We spent a long time looking for somewhere to stay before arriving in Ho Chi Minh, we wanted somewhere close to all the action but a little way out to be quiet and with Dan Le we struck gold. This Gem of a guest house is tucked down a cool and quiet pedestrianised street in a charming more local area, where the fascinating interations of daily life can be witnessed. ||The guest house itself is immaculately clean, the rooms are bright and airy ours had a lovely balcony. Sheets and towels soft and clean. ||The family running the place are simply wonderful and couldn't be more kind and helpful. Assitsting us to get around, helping to get medicine when we were ill and allowing us to come back and leave our bags even when they were full. ||They have a lovely oasis of a roof terrace perfect for a complimentary coffee in the morning or evening drink.||Even more incredible is the free laundry service, our dirty clothes returned clean and neatly folded just a few hours later in the day!||We returned to Dan Le three times during our stay in Vietnam and each time felt like coming home, I would always recommend Dan Le and will...

We stayed at the Dan Le guesthouse from 17th to the 20th of October 2013. It was good value for money, the rooms and ensuite bathroom were very clean. It's down a small back-street so it could be a little tricky to find but it's only a 10minute walk from all the bars and restaurants and travel agent in district 1. There is good wifi access in the rooms and a free PC to use in reception. There is also some fruit and cereal in reception available for guests. There is a beautiful Aquarium in reception, the family that own the guesthouse are very friendly and helpful. If you stay for 3 nights or longer you can get your laundry done for free too.||||I would stay at Dan Le again and would recommend this as good clean...

I communicated with the property in advance that I has some health issues and they replied and made a good effort to address my needs. When I arrived the owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was well furnished, working fridge and TV with HBO. The shower was very nice, with good pressure. The location is about a 20 walk from Bui Vien but a calmer area. There is a FamilyMart convenience store 50 meters away for basic needs. My room closest to reception had a little noise from the alley occasionally, but I'm a light sleeper; I doubt most people would notice.
