With such an ingenious way to upcycle stale bread, it's weird to not see this "Steamed Baguette" more often. The bread becomes so moist and soft yet retains the fragrance of a vietnamese baguette. Placed on top is some beef, scallion oil and peanuts for a classic Viet flavour combination, wrapped with some crispy fresh lettuce and herbs for a complete bite.

A favourite comfort dish for me in both Vietnam and Canada, a variety of toppings decorate a bed of rice vermicelli and lettuce that soaks up fish sauce like a sponge. The spring roll, beef and sausage all have their distinct, umami taste and textures that paired with the refreshing bite of pickled carrots, scallion oil and peanuts, it's hard to get bored...

I recently tried bun tit nung at a local spot, and I was blown away! As someone who has sampled many versions of this dish, I can confidently say this was the best I’ve ever had.

The bun was perfectly chewy, and the tender meat was seasoned to perfection. The fresh herbs and vegetables added a delightful crunch, while the dipping sauce was rich and flavorful, tying everything together beautifully.

The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. If you’re a fan of bun tit nung or looking to try something new, this place is a must-visit! I can’t wait to go...
