IT IS A SCAM!!!!!! |After a long day of travelling, we were looking forward to arriving at our hotel in HCMC, only to find the room we had been put it was NOT the room advertised on the booking. It was a disgusting, damp, cigarette-smelling, dungeon-like room. The pillows have a rock solid mass in the middle that I can only assume is years worth of dead skin and hair build up….not exactly something you want to put your face on. |When we complained and asked for a new room, the smoking and vaping receptionist said no and said that the ‘manager’ had posted the incorrect pictures on the listing and there was nothing he could do. He literally could not have cared less. |After a continual back and forth with Agoda, who we booked with, we were highly fortunate to be offered a generous refund of 7 dollars. You can imagine how thrilled we were with this! Thus ensued a 24 hour battle to get either a cancellation or more of a refund. This utterly ruined the start of our trip to Ho Chi Minh, and was incredibly stressful and frustrating. |IT DOESN’T END THERE!!!!||Here’s a morning in hell staying at Hoa De Nhat hotel that you will experience if you book here:|Every single morning you will be woken up by loud talking, chair scraping and banging from 5AM onwards. This will be relentless noise, not just once in a while. It is constant. You will NOT sleep well here. |After a terrible nights sleep, you will want to wake up in the morning and have a shower ready for another big day in the city, but if there’s two of you don’t EVEN THINK about having a shower each!!!!! Your room will flood!!! Your bags and clothes will get soaked. There will be no way to dry your clothes. The room still does not have a window. No one will care about this. You will develop a deep resentment for Ho Chi Minh. You will skip the included breakfast because it looks disgusting and the less time spent in this hell hole the better.||Save your time. Save your money. Save your relationship. Just stay...

There was no lift, We had to carry our bagges on about 30+ stairs up and down. Also there is no working lift to acess the rooms. The photos are pretty much fake, as the rooms were not like the photos. Only positive thing was we had hot water and rooms were bigger in size. This is just like a hostel and it should not called a hotel. It was close to the airport was the only reason we booked it and our transit was over 12 hours and this was pretty cheap about AUD $82 for two rooms for 5 people with breakfast. For that price you cannot expect more but we regretted booking it after finding out there is no lift. We didn't have breakfast from here as it was all just noodle soups and vietnamese soups that did not have taste. plus the eating area didn't look apealing or clean to us so we chose not to have breakfast and ordered food trough...

The room was not in good order. Not able to turn off the small light above the bed. Cracks in the walls, the tap on the sink was loose. There is no hot water in the shower some mornings. I had to ask for a kettle so I could boil water. No coffee or tea or milk and sugar supplied. I stayed here for 26 days. No dinner service, only lunch service. The people that worked there are nice and helpful. Not enough power points, therefore unable to watch TV, as the fridge had to be plugged in. The hotel is located outside a busy area, which was good for me. It is a cheap...
