Hotel Phương Nam — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

I am grateful to this hotel for having welcomed me. Nonetheless, many things were not like one would expect. Two small dogs live in this hotel. Often times, at reception, you are greeted with barking, and they run towards you. The first time I was also sniffed. Can't say I liked it. The AC wasn't blowing the air powerfully, like it usually does. When I opened it, I understood why: it hadn't been cleaned for ages. It also wasn't responding to the remote control, meaning airflow and temperature couldn't be adjusted. The maid told me to just use switch on the wall to switch it on and off. The compressor of the AC was noisy as well. The net cover of the fan was dusty. It would even blow off those balls of dust onto the floor. The fridge was old and noisy. Its vibration would spread to the wardrobe it stands in. Plus, when I put my coffee in it, the next morning I found it frozen. It turns out the temperature was set to "maximum" power. There was plenty of dust on the wardrobe, by the way. I don't see why they never clean it. You can't see it, but it can affect an allergic person. As soon as I checked in, I noticed a leak from beneath the sink. Luckily, they have a plumber on the staff, and it was fixed within the hour. Lastly, people in the room next door smoked, and smoke would also enter my room.
