King Koi Coffee — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I went here for dinner. I went alone. Nothing special. It is a coffee shop with a twist. Like there are mini bridge with smoking effect, Sakura trees (not sure if it is natural or artificial), glowing tower, wide screen and koi fishes. I spent VND 140,000 for food. I love their Salted coffee. I rate it 9 out of 10. The Banh Mi I rate it as 4/10. Kids may enjoy this place because of the fish. Vloggers can enjoy this place somehow for their content. 😂 I sat in a place above the Koi fish area because I observed there were lot of mosquitoes and I am not planning to feed the fish so, I just sat on the above area for safety. And good thing I did because when it started to rain heavily there were lot of leaks from the roof. So the customers, who were sitting near the koi fish were prompted to transfer to a new table. I observed as well that the servers here were attentive and alert especially when the rain started to pour. They immediately assisted the customers to avoid getting wet. The server who served me that time was accommodating and patient. Personally, this is a nice place to go to for first time experience but not a place that I will go back for the 2nd time. Please save your money and go to somewhere else. The food and drinks here were awful. What’s even worse is the poor customer service. Upon entering, not a single staff member bothered to guide us to a table or acknowledge our presence. I don't expect a 5 star welcome but they do not even care about customers. Even ordering food and asking for the menu was hard because they do not want to entertain you at all! You have to keep calling them SO MANY TIMES then they will come. The staff just stand around doing nothing and playing with their phone and not want to take orders. Their supervisor is even more useless, simply standing by and not responding to customers who were trying to order or ask for assistance. if you are hear clearly to just see the koi fish and nothing else than they definitely got plenty of koi fish to see!

however if you care about how they are treated then potentially look elsewhere

its more so the other customers here dont treat the fish very nicely. we saw people throwing in random food to feed the fish, including throwing wrappers and packets... (i believe staff would stop that behaviour if caught) and then also saw kids using spoons and chopsticks to whack and disturb the water... parents and staff members didn't bother to stop the child
