Joy — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

This place was amazing.

The location was great with a short walk from the airport. It only took me a good 5 minutes to walk over. Despite the proximity I slept well and couldn’t hear planes.

The apartment was spacious and clean.

I particularly appreciated the staff. They were super friendly. I had a parcel sent there and they took it for me and kept it a few days until my arrival and put it into my room prior to my arrival. They also let me check out later.

The hotel was fine overall, but a few key issues made the stay less than ideal. First, the WiFi was practically unusable—it kept cutting out, making it impossible to work or stream anything. Second, the room I stayed in didn't have a window, which made it feel quite claustrophobic. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient.
