Regalia Nha Trang Hotel — Hotel in Nha Trang City

This was a very disappointing stay. The ratings were good and the location was nice. Also offered discounts so I thought “Nice, this is gonna be great!”. When I came there it was clear that they are quite understaffed. The hotel lobby is quite crowded and it’s hard to get anything done. Plus half of the staff doesn’t speak in English so that made it even harder to deal with the problems.

The biggest problem was that they gave me a room on the third floor and the flip flop seller outside had a loudspeaker on from 6:00 am to 6pm repeating his selling pitch every twenty seconds. I complained two times. The sound was too loud and would wake me up every day but the staff would do nothing. This sound made it impossible to have a good sleep and just to stay in the room. The voice voice was too loud and distracting.

Because the staff can’t communicate or take responsibility other smaller problems would be impossible to solve. Like people ringing my door bell three times in the morning for no clear reason. Or missing bathroom curtain which lead to constant puddles in the bathroom…

Very disappointing. I couldn’t wait to leave Nha Trang because of this hotel. It has good ratings but it is a shame that they have let the things down. Wouldn’t recommend...

The hotel is situated right across the road from the beach - one minute walk! This was perfect. The rooms were a good size, very clean and the staff were all very helpful and kind. We were travelling with friends and booked two double rooms with breakfast. The hotel was extremely reasonably priced. We stayed 4 nights and were given four ‘tickets’ to present each day for breakfast. The hotel provided robes, flip flops and toiletries. The hotel also had a rooftop pool which had great views over the coast. Unfortunately it was a little too windy whilst we were there. We managed a couple of hours on our last day. Sadly the pool bar was not open. I guess everyone is still feeling the effects of covid and cuts have to be made. I would say this is a real budget/cheap priced hotel, but performs way better than the price suggests. In my opinion it’s a great little hotel and probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed in during our 6 weeks travels in Vietnam and Thailand! First the positive things: good location, close to the beach (just cross the road). Swimming pool and pool table. Nice rooms.

Negative: the staff is not very friendly. Even at the reception some do not talk English. this hotel requests an identity card as deposit (which is ridiculous). Identity fraude is happening more and more in case digital copies are made. the music in the restaurant is much too loud breakfast is average. No black bread or yoghurt. additional things like additional breakfast cannot be booked on the room bill but have to be paid cash. they sell entrance tickets for the vinpearl park, but you can’t pay them by credit card, cash only. when we booked several months in advance we asked for 2 rooms close to each but when we checked in they said it was not possible to have 2 rooms on the same floor (even our children would sleep on a different floor).
