MUI NE ALENA BUNGALOW HOTEL — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

Booked two rooms which we cancelled immediately after viewing due to the poor conditions of the rooms which were water damaged. They looked nothing like the photos!

Our main issue however - The booking policy clearly stated that we could cancel free of charge at ANY time, the booking agent (booking.com) also agreed with this however the hotel demanded we pay them in full in breach of the booking terms and conditions. Thus ensued a lengthy argument between the hotel and booking.com in which booking.com advised that the hotel had to allow us to cancel free of charge as per the t’s and c’s, meanwhile the hotel were holding our passports in a safe. Very stressful, if you don’t want your guests to have a flexible cancellation policy then do not offer it...

Hotel location is not bad. Just opposite of a kid's swimming school. ||Overall, hotel is clean, staff is friendly, there's a small swimming pool right in front of the hotel entrance.||The door lock system need to be upgraded, it still using key instead of access card.||Breakfast is just so-so, don't expect too much haha.||To rent a motorbike, come out from hotel turn right and walk about 5 mins and you will see 1 or 2 shops with motorbike rental service...

We booked a room in this hotel. Arrived around 23:00. Surprised to see that it’s not close to the beach at all. Walked into the dark alley with dirty diapers all over the streets, no lights and barking aggressive dogs. Gate was closed. We tried to call the hotel but no one picked up the phone. We had to find a different place to stay in Mui Ne. Worst...
