Sapa Riverside Homestay — Hotel in Ta Van Commune

Firstly the staff here are amazing and really made an effort to look after us. The guy on reception is great and the lady who does the food is a great chef, all the meals we ate were super fresh and delicious. On top of the great staff, the guesthouse is quite new and is large and spotlessly clean. Cleaning was offered every day also. The beds are large and very comfortable and there is even an electric mattress topper for the cold nights. The breakfast section was good and again of high quality but only 3in1 instant coffee is offered. The only thing of note that was not good was the scooters on offer to hire, they are of a very poor standard and are not suitable for hiring. We tested 2 bikes and rejected both. The riverside homestay has a lovely decor and a great team. I felt very welcome there. As is often the case with a homestay, I had a shared bathroom - be mindful which room you book depending on your preferences.
