Grand Ville is one of the newer apartment buildings in Vung tau, the design is similar to hundreds of others with narrow frontage small foyer opening to the street a parking area for scooters and 6 floors, It is one of the newer type and very clean and modern looking but cheap||You pay for power monthly if you uses AC during days as well as nights it will cost you $80 - $100 per month||||There are several annoying issues||The doors and windows don't have insect screens - luckily there are not many mosquito here||the doors do not have door closing devices so they are constantly getting slammed shut by the wind, you can here them from all floors, the bathroom and bedroom door are twisted and are difficult to close and noisy to open especially when your partner is sleeping||The hot water is dangerously HOT! we have been scalded a few times before we changed our habits but still get caught out occasionally||The cupboards - none have shelves so kitchen storage is very limited and the upper cupboards in the kitchen you can not reach if you are under 160cm||The lighting for cooking and food preparation is dismal||The power sockets are cheap and difficult to plug into, the power sockets near the TV in living room and bedroom have shelves across them and almost not accessible||There are many roosters nearby that start at 4.30 am and a few annoying dogs barking at odd times||When you swim in the pool you walk water across foyer, into elevator it is very slippery, extra towels not provided||||many of these issues are common on many hotel / apartments in Vietnam||||It is a shame that the management do not want to or understand the need to fix some of these issues as generally we enjoyed our stay||||||It is a...
