This was my first time having Indian food in Vietnam. The restaurant is small but was full for a Monday, a good sign. It was also immaculately clean, always a big plus! There was a large party next to us so it took a long time to get served, but the staff remained attentive and did what they could to get our salad and drinks to the table pretty quickly, and explained that it was taking longer due to the kitchen working hard to get the big party served. I noted that even though they were under pressure, the large group got its food all at the same time. And our food arrived shortly thereafter and was hot and well prepared. I had the chicken tiki Marsala, my favorite Indian dish. The spiciness level was perfect. The chicken could have been more tender, it was very good but did not “melt in my mouth”. I paired it with basmati rice and a few bottles of Blanc 1664, my first time having that wheat beer. It went great with the meal. My partner had an egg curry which I tried. Per her request it was mild, and was perfect as I thought it wasn’t spicy at all and she thought it was too spicy 😂😂😂 Overall I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the meal very much. I highly recommend Dani Pani if you want tasty Indian fare. It’s not gourmet but it doesn’t need to be....
Read moreOh my gosh where do I begin. I found this place when I was craving some good Indian foods (I haven't had any in a year), and I stumbled across this place. This place is relatively cheaper than the other Indian restaurants in town, and their food is fantastic. I first ordered the butter chicken through Grab, and arrived relatively quickly. The food was booming with spices, and there were a good portion. The second time I went in-person to try; it was late at night, right at closing time. I was craving some good food, and when I went home from work past the place, I couldn't resist. I was seated by a very friendly waiter, who, despite the late time, was still very energetic and served me while speaking about her home country. The food was delicious, the lamb was very soft and tender, and the naan was incredibly fresh, along with the onions. I would highly highly anyone in Vung Tau who has a chance to come by to this restaurant and try (it's completely Indian owned, so the level of authenticity is very high)....

Everything served to us was really well seasoned, fresh & beautifully cooked! A nice tangy yoghurt Raita was also served with our dishes. The Dahl was buttery, the Biryani had fresh, nicely diced vegetables & paneer cheese cubes… the lamb curry had generous chunks of lamb & sauce was thick & creamy….. the Naan was light, crispy & perfect for dipping! the service from start to finish was great & we met the chef too after our meal …..w super clean, smart & professional looking dude! For the ambience….We were the only people there at this time so the place was quiet, so atmosphere was not jumping…. But don’t let this put you off because everything else we experienced was exceptionally good… Will be going back there very soon to try something else from the menu …….Big...
