Nguyen Ha Hotel — Hotel in Vung Tau City

First time tried to get to Vung Tau by Hydrofoil ferry service from HCM. Hopped into taxi and asked to go to boat pier to Vung Tau. Hydrofoil ferry service was a pleasant experience - 200k VND to get there and 250 (weekend rate) to get back. Arrived at Vung Tau pier in one and half hour and hopped into taxi from there and asked to go to Nguyen Ha Hotel 81/16 Thuy Van, Ward 2, Vung Tau, Vietnam. Got there within 15 minutes. The hotel looks like a new building (6 months old?). Think its family run - pleasant and very good service. Room was clean and spacious. The USD18 per night was very worth. It seem like its catering for local to get-away for short trips from the busy/crowded HCM. The food/drinks joints around the hotel shows this. Stayed here in March 2016. We booked a quadruple room and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a better room with a better view for free! The room was immaculately clean and everything was brand new. ||What really impressed me about this hotel was the customer service. Shortly after checking in, I remembered I needed to send an email for work.. but I realized I couldn't charge my laptop because I did not have a travel adapter. I been to Vung Tau many times, this is the first time I stayed in the hotel im feel really good. Nice room, simple but clean and not smelly. Good price (1 bed 14$, 2 bed 16-18$ in weekday), friendly staff, but I dont like the way the manager talk to me.||||But 1 thing I want to warn you guys: You have to make sure that you are getting the room you want. If you are not clear, the manager will put you in a different room which you do not want. I booked the room at a high floor with sea view.
