Villa hotel — Local services in Yerevan

Greetings from Armenia, we came to Yerevan on 25. of March, 5 days before coming to Yerevan we booked a room at this place and we had our reservation confirmed by the hotel that they had a free room for me and my friend. On our confirmed reservation we even added a time of arrival at their hotel. After landing in Yerevan we came to the hotel, to find the doors locked, without anyone to greet us or even take us in. After finding out that we couldn't enter the lobby at all, we gave a call to the number on the reservation confirmation and someone who we assumed was a manager or an owner (they didn't say who answered the phone) answered the phone and when we informed them that we were infront of the hotel they told us that they didn't see that we made a reservation and that they currently don't have available rooms and that she will call us in 2~3 minutes... 15 minutes passed and we still didn't recieve a call from her, so we called them again and when they answered we told them that it was not possible for them to not see the reservation because it was CONFIRMED by someone who works with them and when we asked how is that possible they said that she doesn't know what to say?... We asked if they could help us get an apartment for arround the same price that we had on booking and then they found someone to help us with that so we didn't end up on the street for that night. After spending a night in a different apartment we made a complaint on booking about this, and after everything the hotel canceled our reservation saying that WE DIDN'T SHOW UP AT ALL which is such a low move that led up to this long essay of a review. Had a great stay at their Hotel. Very calming ambience, has a great view of their pool and the towers. The location is excellent as it is only 20-30mins away from the EVN airport and 5-10mins drive to the center of Yerevan. Has a lot of nearby markets too. And it is very affordable and worth the value!. Big thanks to the staff, “Guru” who assisted us is very friendly and will help in every thing. Big thanks as well to the 2 owners who helped us around the hotel and helped me when I injured my feet 😂 . All staffs are very welcoming. It’s up to the guest how you will treat or behave on your stay. Guest should be responsible and be mindful in every use of the shared bathroom. Overall stay is excellent! Will surely book to them if ever I go back to Armenia! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
