River House Yerevan — Hotel in Yerevan

We (2 girlfriends, my husband & I) booked 2 rooms for 18 - 20 September, 2024. As we checked in late & tired, we just wanted simple dinner / instant food. The kind host welcomed us warmly, helped us with our bags and then walked us to the nearby supermarket & showed us the metro station. He even asked if we had AMD with us for the purchases / metro ride; which touched our hearts. ||We were also treated to his home-made cheery wine. First of all, this is not a hotel. It’s a guesthouse, so they lie from the very beginning. If they call themselves hotel, they would have to be more friendly, they would have to have a credit card terminal, free water and cleaning, none of which was present. Secondly, the sink in the shower was working very badly and as a result the whole bathroom was full of water, which wouldn’t go anywhere. The water was impossible to get right - it was either hot as hell, or cold as shit. Thirdly, they have very weird light bulbs which even lighten up a little bit when they are turned off.
