On our visit to Armenia / yeravan we planned to stay in silachi hotel . ||As our flight was going to reach yeravan early morning and check in time only by 14:00 pm we were hoping that hotel gives us early checkin. ||When we reached hotel lady at reception asked us if we are ok to pay 15000 thousand Armenia dham for early checkin But we refuse and told her we shall take a city walk and come back at 2pm. After few minutes receptionist said its ok and no need to pay and she got us the a room done . ||Silachi hotel staff are good specially lerissa, arther. ||For us the big question while traveling in halal food , we were lucky that we found restaurant “ little india” close to our hotel Which serve good indian food.||||Positive point for hotel silachi.||1. Good location. close to republic square 5-10 min walk. Near to carrefour and other super market.||2. Decent staff.||3. Clean and spacious room.||4. Breakfast for us was just ok . considering we can’t eat much there only bread||4. They can arrange city tour for you offcourse at a price. ||||Negative point for hotel.||1. They will try to make extra money from our.||They will ask for money for early check in . If you dont pay than also its ok as they can still manage without money|| 2. Swimming pool is not included in your hotel booking you will be asked to pay extra.So be carefull when booking online.||3. Biggest thing i did not like about hotel is that you have to request them to provide basic thing in the room , which they have to provide by themself.||||Note: 1. Don't book airport shuttle with hotel as that will cost more instead take express bus service form airport to city its every 30 minute and very cheap.||2. Not all People there speak english so be ready for sign language.||3. Book your city tour from local agent in city you can get a big discount. (30% -40%). Bargain dont fell shy. Just checkin first and take a walk around the hotel you will find lot of tour operator near hotel and republic square. If you take 2 days tour from them possible you can ask for free...

Read moreThe cleanliness of this four-star hotel was lacking, barely 6 out of 10. Detailed images showed that the level of cleaning was not up to par. The lack of toothpaste and toothbrush in the room was disappointing. In addition, the bathroom had a drainage issue, causing the water to remain inside and spill onto the floor. Although a repairman was sent to fix the problem, he was unable to do so until removing the drainage well completely. Furthermore, the lack of heating in the room was a downside, but an electric small heater was eventually provided. The outdated walls, bedcovers, and curtains were a bit of an eyesore, and the view outside was not very pleasant either. The towels appeared to be very old and have been washed one too many times. The Wi-Fi connection in the room was subpar, but it worked okay in the lobby. The pool was not free! The staff, apart from one breakfast lady, were polite, and the breakfast was good. However, the plates used for breakfast need to be replaced. Overall, this hotel needs vital renovations to modernize...
