One of those places that takes you with a wauu!!!
It is located across the church next to a gas station in a two story building.
The warm smell of the meat, kabob and vegetables being cooked over the circular charcoal mangal presents a great welcome mood.
The place is very cozy and spacious enough to accommodate a group. At some point, it was eight of us.
The food is very well prepared and the khinkalis we tried were pretty good.
Also, I would definitely recommend the meat sampler for two or four people. It gives a good pallet of the food they cook over the charcoals.
Worth the visit and price...
Read moreThe food at this place was so good. Remembering the pickle plate and the yogurt with the bread makes my mouth water. We ordered a bunch of different things and it was all good. The service was nice as well, they took us to the "non-smoking" section upstairs. Its more like the "less-smoking" section. People still smoke but its not as bad as downstairs. I didn't mind though, breathing in other people's smoke is a part of travelling and Yerevan is not ready to quit yet. Probably one of the highest population of smokers...
Pros: the atmosphere of the place, the location, the interior. Cons (cuisine): Ordered veal kebab, liver kebab, heart kebab and fried potatoes. In the end only shish kebab of heart was perfect, all the rest are very hard and can not be cut with a knife, fried potatoes are half raw (but tasty in general). Cons (staff): The staff does not let in the narrow aisles of the restaurant (ramming or waiting to be let in), when paying, when it was said that payment by card, the waitress made it look as if she was insulted personally. When leaving the restaurant the staff did not thank for the visit (probably in all restaurants in Armenia, and this is the norm). The review does not claim that this is how it is always in this restaurant, but on that particular day and with...
