I think Adelaide deserves more than one outlet, that's why I am happy to see District Outlet Centre was opened a year or so ago. Even in a big city like Sydney, there are three outlets only. The DFO Homebush is located in Homebush, Sydney, which is pretty big and has quite many big luxury brands like Versace, Coach, Ferragamo, Burberry, Ermenegildo Zegna, Hugo Boss, Armani etc. However, the remaining two outlet malls, Birkenhead Point and Fashion Spree Liverpool, are smaller as they are definitely targeting different groups of customers. As a matter of fact, all the above-mentioned big brands are not available in these two ordinary outlets, but these outlets are still very popular to locals. In fact, this District Outlet Centre in Adelaide is pretty similar to the Fashion Spree in terms of size, building structure, and type of outlet shops (mainly fashions, sports wears, shoes etc.). As this outlet has been opened just a year or so, it's much nicer in terms of cleaniness, interior renovation, air-conditioning and car park facility, etc. The outlet was not too busy during my visit, which was a Sunday. I saw a few (maybe 5 to 6) shops were closed but overall still have enough shops for me to browse / do my shoppings. Most of the shops that I browsed did offer attractive discounts but not in full range of size for some products. This is pretty similar to the outlets in Sydney, and during Black Friday, they will probably offer even bigger discounts. Therefore, many people visited the outlets during Black Friday except me. It's headachy to me to wait hours for car park space, quite up for entry into shops to browse before you know any product / discount are available , queuing up for fitting rooms for hours, queuing up for payment and eventually found your free car park has expired for hours and you have to $30 for parking. Don't think this is a good shopping experience on Black Friday in SydneyđŸ˜”â€đŸ’«đŸ„Ž. This outlet mall is quiet, really good for me😊 I guess the location of this mall could be a problem to some people as it situates between Mawson Lakes and Salisbury, which is near the northern part of Adelaide City. I guess some people living in Southwest, Southeast, or Adelaide Hills could be a bit reluctant to come here as it is quite far. There are some other shops nearby so if doing shopping together with other shops nearby could justify a visit occasionally. It's above 30 minutes away from my home, but I will definitely visit again for the reasons explained above.

The variety of brands is seriously lacking, and the range of products is insufficient. Including brands like Lululemon, Zara, H&M, Kooki, and Muji would make the mall more appealing. Additionally, establishing an area with over 30 stalls for handmade crafts would attract a diverse crowd. There is no covered parking, making shopping in heavy rain very inconvenient. There are insufficient resting areas and no central atrium, making it unlikely to host events or display large Christmas trees on special occasions. The restaurants are unremarkable and the mall's design is monotonous, with repetitive circular paths. The endless sunset view is the mall's only redeeming feature. Adding an oyster jazz bar to complement this view would be a great enhancement. The store discounts are not particularly significant. I gave it two stars because it's better than nothing.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Puma store located at Shop 22, District Outlet Centre, 24 Nobby Buckley Drive, Parafield SA 5106. There were two staff members on duty—a male and a female—who were completely unprofessional and uninterested in helping customers. They were both busy on their phones and chatting with each other, with no acknowledgment of who was entering or needing assistance. I had to approach the counter and ask for help, and even then, the response was minimal and dismissive. After completing the transaction, they did not say thank you or even acknowledge the purchase—they simply continued their conversation. Their rude and careless attitude showed a complete lack of customer service, and it’s disappointing to see such poor behaviour under a well-known brand like Puma.

Firstly I think its great there is an outlet mall for those in the north of Adelaide. Having said that, this place does need a major expansion as the current selection of stores doesnt provide the right mix to make it comparable to Harbor Town or other DFO's I have visited interstate. Most of the stores are similar to what you would find at a suburban shopping mall such as your local Westfields or Centro mall.

Whats missing at this location is a total lack of premium & international brands (Coach, Oroton, Lacoste, Polo) as well as mid tier fashion brands (Calvin Klein, Tommy Hillfiger, Guess) and the big sporting apparel brands (Nike, Adidas).

For anyone travelling to visit this outlet, be sure to check the directory listing to ensure there are shops you are interested to visit.

I did enjoy the food selections at the Food Court which offer a decent variety for the size of the centre and there is plenty of car parking especially if you come on a...

I bought a set of Bacarat brand Knife for $209 on special at the House Shop in Parafield outlet , after less than a month of use I was cutting chicken and realised the knife tooth chipped , was still under warranty returned to the shop Spock with the manager which was really rude like she doesn’t even care about the business she told me it’s miss used not covered under warranty . A set of knives that worth $200 can’t be used for cutting chicken , then she was going to send it back keeping it in the shop for more than 2 months. I had to go twice to find out what is the outcome and she said she was sick couldn’t call me to let me know the results and given me back the knife which was covered in dust indicating wasn’t sent back at all was sitting at the back of the shop the whole time, terrible customer service rude manager that lies to customer never ever shop their again I dont think they will last in business the way they treat...
