The ice cream stall holder is incredibly rude and abused my 3.5 yr old whilst she was having a meltdown. I was shopping at another stall and was attempting to calm my toddler when the ice cream attendant, an older woman, walked over, crouched down infront of my toddler, got in her face and proceeded to scold her and tell us to leave. Not much open on a Sunday in Albany, so it was nice to visit the Boat Shed Markets. Some wonderful stall holders there, but in my opinion, it was to crammed in, it could be a really great Sunday event with more stall holders, a bigger space, more food vendor options like a food court with plenty of seating. Wonderful small market setup selling good food including fresh local oysters, unprocessed local honey, handmade jewellery and handmade woollen clothing like hats and slippers.... Comfort stuff. Excellent coffee, live music etc. Lookout for the chicken artist and his original drawings. Definitely visit here on the weekend.
