Avoid This Place – Food Was Not Fresh and Inedible. We've had high expectations for this restaurant, but it was a complete disappointment. When we walked in, we noticed a few tables where customers had left their plates full—a clear red flag. We should have been more switched on. I ordered the pork belly, and as soon as it arrived, there was a strong, unpleasant smell. Hoping it was just an issue with the presentation, I gave it a try, but it was absolutely terrible—completely inedible. The food was clearly not fresh, and the quality was highly questionable. In the end, we had to leave all the food behind because it was just that bad. To make matters worse, it was expensive, making the experience even more frustrating. I really wish I had read the reviews beforehand.

I booked a room to stay during the weekend and I got a really bad surprise. The WiFi doesn't work. The room is super hot and there's no AC. The tv is a super old TV, doesn't have any platform to watch something - just the bad normal tv programs and can not connect to the internet (because is super old and because there's no internet!). I can't work, I can't relax watching a movie, I can't study. I asked about the internet and one of the staff answered me: "sorry love, I can't do anything". Also, when I arrived, the receptionist charged me $200 "in case I break something", so in total I have paid almost $400 to be here 2 nights sharing bathroom, in a hot and old room with a "great view" of a medium sized window. I totally regret booking a expensive room here!

Arrived around dinner time, it was quite busy but we managed to get a seat. The naming of dishes and drinks on the menu is quite funny and witty. We ordered the beef burger and squid stir fry and also the grapefruit cocktail. The beef burger has a nice beetroot relish and the patty was juicy and flavorful. The chips were crispy and nicely done too. First time ever ordering an Asian dish in a western restaurant but it's nicely done. The squid with XO sauce is tasty and cooked perfectly. The rice is the perfect vessel for the flavorful sauce. Our friend got the chicken parmi and it's one of the best we have had too. The grapefruit cocktail with its slight bitterness from grapefruit and citric flavours is very refreshing.

I’m writing this so customers are aware in relation to the extreme noise that guests like myself had to endure last night and every time a band is on.

Firstly, I was never informed when I phoned up about the extreme pounding bass, vibrating guitar and loud vocals coming from your downstairs dining area which carried on until midnight. I am pretty shocked that this crucial information wasn’t given to me before I booked and paid! I never would have stayed there otherwise! Shocking customer service, and shocking lack of information, there’s nothing on the website that warns guests either?? We rocked up to reception and the lady at the desk told us a band was on tonight but it’s booked out, nothing about any noise, and then when we get into our room there is a little slip of paper saying “here have Some ear plugs, sorry for the noise” little did we know how extreme it was, unfortunately it was too late by this point and we had no option but to stay in the room, I might also add that we had been driving since 4am that morning and were sleep deprived, it was extremely dangerous for us and then to do another lengthy trip after, on having little to no sleep.

Also, you need to check on your guests as there were people running up and down the halls at 4 am and screaming, like who the hell is even monitoring that floor and who’s up there??? They were being very inconsiderate.

I won’t be coming back and I hope for whoever else’s sake that you inform them properly before they pay for their...

Where can I even start. I literally just finished eating here with my partner (17/02/24 @ 4:30-5:00)… worst burger I’ve ever consumed tbh. I spent $86, I was in shock. Just for one chicken burger and one beef burger (and two pints of Ginger beer that were $15, which is reasonable). The prices of the burgers was BAFFLING to me for what you got. I complained during my time there to my partner and on the walk back to our hotel, with people passing by asking where it happened.

It was $25-$28 for both burgers. My chicken burger didn’t even have much chicken at all. It was literally A QUARTER of a chicken breast…… like WHAT. When the server gave it to me, I looked at it confused to where the chicken even was cos it was HIDING. The flavours in the chicken as well was also so confusing. They had aeoli sauce that you barely can taste, a grilled small chicken which was heavily seasoned, and BARELY any veg. Only + was the BRI that was unexpected to taste. Only did because the chicken was so small that it clinged to one side of the patty and the cheese on the other.

I wish I could have taken a photo of my chicken burger, but it was charging at our hotel.

The beef burger was apparently bland :) service was ok.

If y’all existed in Perth, no offence, your business would...

This is strictly an accomodation review.

Tiny old pillow with no guts in it(every room) T.v has been mounted on the wall above your bed(un-usable) No where to sit or put your stuff on in the room. Curtains don't hold out any light. Rooms are cold and the plankets are thin. There's no heater in the room, they advertise it as having one but there's a towel heater instead, which has no use here as there's no bathroom connected to your room. It's not like your going to leave your towel on the heater in the room and walk back from the shower and down the hall naked or heat it up pryer and bring it with you hoping it won't go cold before you get to use it. It's almost as if they installed the cheap towel heater in the room so they can advertise the room as having a heater. Ohh yea and dont expect much from the shower, zero pressure, can't control temperature and there's no where to put your stuff, towel, soap, clothes etc. Finally if you return this place after a certain time you have to park your car at the back and walk around the block to get in the front of the building.

This place is the perfect example of an establishment which cares more about trendy signs on the wall and being cool rather than providing a compfy, practical stay for guests.

Staff were...
