Albany Entertainment Centre — Attraction in Albany

A wonderful venue with great events (though it is sometimes cold - a design flaw perhaps :)). The reason I have not given them 4 or 5 stars is because the "organization" side of getting information out about events prior to there commencement and sale of tickets in advance is poor. Tickets going on sale 3 weeks before an event seems very late, (and counter productive for it's success).

Whenever I went to (professional) events over east the tickets were usually available for purchase many months in advance. Perhaps that ia not how things are done in Albany- but as someone thar wants to support the creative offerings here and hopes they can be as sucessful as possible to encourage event offerings to continue and new ones to appear- it seems like bad business practice for success. I hope this feedback assists this aspect...

Not bad Albany, not bad. Based on our visit there is some room for improvement with the carpet in the lobby, it hasn't got long to go as it's wrinkled up in areas. The windows in the restaurant could do with a clean on the outside. Other than that, polite and helpful staff and I will certainly visit again. From a business perspective, I would try to integrate the restaurant into the experience by providing a menu to guests at the counter when they collect their tickets and by possibly, creating a theme in the restaurant - things such as scented candles or fake candles, scent and some posters will keep the...

This venue has so many things going for it, it has a cafe, it has excellent facilities for staff meetings, the food is always excellent, the staff are always so friendly and help.
