I had the best customer service at this location on June 16 (a Sunday). Night and day from my experience a few weeks prior, as I had come here on two separate occasions, got ignored by all the staff working there, I got frustrated and left without purchasing anything. I was half expecting this visit to be the same but I was glad I gave them another chance.
I walked near the back where the yoga pants are and a very kind, smiling, helpful sales associate (very tall girl with long brown hair) named Monique immediately asked me if I needed any assistance. I was quite surprised that I was greeted so quickly due to my past two visits. I was looking for the Wundertrain longer tights in a specific size and color, and she tried very hard to help me find what I was looking for. Unfortunately it seemed like every style was completely sold out of my size. There was a lighter blue in my size and I decided to just get them without trying them on.
Monique was so friendly and not pushy whatsoever, which is what every sales person should learn from her. I was so impressed with the customer service, and was feeling happy, and on my way out my eye caught a unique sports top. So I decided to come back in and purchase it. Unfortunately the next day I had to bring it in and return it but I did order a different size on their website.
Jess the store manager the next day had processed my return with a smile and again no pushiness or questions. I gave her my positive feedback of Monique to pass along to the higher up manager. I am really glad that I gave this store another chance and had a great experience.
The Lululemon brand is very trendy but the reason I shop there now is my husband purchased me my first pair of Wunder Train pants, and I am blown away at the quality and texture of the fabric. The store layout at Booragoon is very neatly laid out, with pops of color and carefully folded merchandise. I will never get a different brand of workout...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI waited at the cash register for almost 10 minutes as nobody was there and when someone eventually came by...she said, "sorry, I have to attend to another customer first." So I just kept standing there.
I don't mind waiting and understand the constraints of being short staffed but when you notice someone waiting at the cash register ...it's just professional courtesy to say "sorry and I'll be with you in a moment" or at least acknowledge that people are waiting. There was no eye contact whatsoever and the store wasn't full of customers as well too.
All wanted to do was pay and leave. I would have been more annoyed if it wasn't for the sales person looking after the fitting rooms coming over to put through my purchases. To her credit, she did apologise for the wait. If Lululemon pegs themselves as a premium brand, HQ needs to provide customer service/training to match. Will go to the Claremont store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReview I left a few years ago: Great products but always a little put off by the over-eager staff even though I know they are trying to be nice. Not a place for introverts
2022: still the same. Great products but good luck trying to try anything on without being forced to give your name, asked questions repeatedly even when it's clear you don't want to be asked, forced again to give personal data just to buy an item. I gave feedback and was told it's the Lululemon Way. Feels like I'm just another customer talking to a corporate facade rather than a person. The staff know it sucks/understand, but I doubt any adjustments would be made.
Others stores I can handle it, but it's always over the top at Lululemon. Why can't I...
