My one star rating for this review is based on an incident at this shop 2 weeks ago. I decided I’d like some forequarter BBQ lamb chops for $17 a kilo. When I was served, I asked for the 4 chops which were on the left. They looked good. They were trimmed of excess fat and cut to the thickness and size I was after. The butcher was quite rude in his reply. He told me he can only sell me the chops from the back of the display first. These chops were quite inferior with different shape with less meat on them and the fat content was quite excessive. I told him that I’d like to choose which ones I got, as I was the one paying for the product. His reply to me “ No! You’ll have to have the ones I’ve chosen you…..Lamb is expensive you know, and we can’t have customers just choosing all the best ones!” left me quite flabbergasted. As a grandchild of a butcher, I know which cuts of meat are best to choose I will definitely not...

Had been their loyal customer for 10+ years despite their rude and horrendous customer service BUT today they've finally lost me !! I was wanting to buy their advertised 2KG BBQ chops For $30 and their shopboy a little chubby teenager leapt out to serve me grabing the most stale and dodgy looking lamb chops from the section right in front of him . I stopped him saying they look very stale and requested him to fetch me the pieces that looked fresh BUT i was shocked to hear from him that his Manager has told him to sell old stock first before touching the fresh ones !! I went out to speak to the Manager and to my absolute horror he reconfirmed with an arrogant and rude "YES, I HAVE INSTRUCTED THAT CHUBBY TEENAGER TO SELL OLD STALE STOCK FIRST" !! Bye bye Mate !! NEVER ENTERING YOUR HORRIBLE LITTLE MEAT DUNGEON EVER AGAIN NOR WILL MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY .... I WILL MAKE...

After 6 yrs of supporting this ‘local’ butcher, I experienced the most distasteful thing today. I picked a leg lamb and politely asked for it to diced. I paid for the meat. A white gentlemen (named Scott) immediately asked, ‘do you want it for curry?’ I didn’t answer yes/no. Rather, I tried to reason with him about why the question was inappropriate, and that he actually, racially profiled me. He was having none of it! Ignorantly, he didn’t want to listen to my concerns about how I am offended by his question. Rather than simply, apologise and move on, he continued to insult all Indians. For the record, I’m not even of Indian origin. I took a refund, and vowed never to return to this racist establishment. #StopRacism #BlackLiveMatter...
