Punjabi Masala — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Update: If you want to try the new Karen restaurant where you pay to get bad service and abuse, you can practice and have a trial run at Punjabi Massala. (Note: At Karen's restaurant you are at least pre warned and they have food that you can eat.) When I asked for the ETA of our drink after nearly an hour, I was asked by the owner "why you in a hurry, sit down it's coming". After an other half an hour with no food on the table, the owner wanted to know why I was hungry and always in a hurry? When I complained that the vegetable curry was made of frozen vegetables, I was told that, "was frozen but not in the fridge"! So all in all, apart from the outrageous entertainment from the staff and owner if you are bored, I would not recommend going there for food if it is an empty tummy that you are trying to fill.

It was so bad, it took over 40 minutes for the drink to come. The vegetable curry was made with frozen vegetables, it was returned quickly, the owner told me that the vegetable was indeed frozen but not from the freezer. How does that work? There was also the problem of communication, as well has needing to have all the time in the world to eat there. If you don't have at least 2 an a half hours and a pocket full of cash for below average frozen food do...

Wouldn’t even give 1 star but I have to, to leave review. I order from here every week it’s usually a great place I ordered tonight my order came & it was missing an item when I called up to politely tell them about the item missing I had such a rude outcome, they kept passing the phone around to different people pretending they couldn’t understand me then one lady got on the phone to rudely tell me that she did give the item & I was lying about it not being there. I then tried to explain nicely she told me I was being violent shouting etc 😂 all I wanted them to say was ok we know for next time but instead they did not want to admit maybe they forgot to pack it in bag or maybe forgot to cook it but the staff tonight was just horrendous & food was not as usual tonight felt like it was cooked days ago & re warmed up. This is the best Indian restaurant! The food is amazing and the delivery was so quick. I'm extremely grateful to have such fresh, flavourful food near me! The Chicken Tikka Masala was the best I've had from anywhere. The Garlic Naan was perfection and the normal size, not shrinked down. I have just tried their Aloo Tikka for the first time tonight, and smelled so amazing I just started eating it from the carton. I think it's my new favourite dish. Everything was top notch! Thank goodness I didn't eat it in the restaurant though -- I was moaning over every delicious mouthful way too much for a public outing.
