Dishonest business . Terrible customer service. There was an ad for a special (chicken burger, sweet potato chips and salad) for $16.9 on the board outside the coffee shop. I went to order it. I was told they ran out out the special!!! I should order chicken burger from the menu with sweet potato which costs $21 with out salad. Obviously they haven’t ran out the chicken. They just wanted to charge more. On another board, they had taro latte for $4.9, but they changed me $5.50. I asked for the reason of charging me more. I was told they needed to update the board! We really liked this place and have eaten there about once every two months for a couple of years. The selection of food is good and the service is generally good.... except for one thing... we liked the spagbol so much we decided to take it home - our 4 years old couldn't finish it. I asked for a doggy bag... and they wanted to charge me 40c for it.... and also 40c for the bag to carry it in... and they can't take cards for anythnig less than $5. I had no cash. Best cafe experience I've ever had. Many elderly folks had me thinking that they'd have a different standard, but I tried it anyway having the club sandwich and a mocha. Mocha was divine with the milk frothed to perfection, and the club sandwich was superb with the lime mayo, egg and succulent thickly cut bacon.
