We haven't been able to go there for a few months and I was really surprised that the quality of the food had gone downhill so much it was a really disappointing... When we used to go their earlier the variety was so much better and the quality of the food stalls were really good too... I'm not sure what happened but the food quality and atmosphere is just felt flat and uninviting totally different from when we used to go before...

The main reason I went was especially for the Tibetan Dumplings known as momo's, I can't find momo's that good elsewhere... I bought $50 worth of momo's but I was truly disappointed by everything else I tried the roti canai from the Malaysian place, the ribs place had only knuckles and corn left, they used to have a Thai style bbq place that made these amazing skewers, they also had an amazing Thai place that made an amazing green curry, both of those were no longer their...

The dessert choices were better before, they used to have a churros place that had decent churros, they had a cronuts truck... We bought honey puffs and ended up throwing them because they were so chewy my mouth was actually hurting from chewing them... I would love to know where these guys...

I came here with my partner yesterday. And this would be our first and last time. We paid for 8 $ entry free together just to be in there for 5 minute and out. This market is very poor organised and no safety. There was very crowd and no space to sit. With this heap of people but there is only one exit i could not imagine people try to get out at the same way when it got fired. It was very hot as layout of all shops blocking the wind to come inside. We paid $$$ for the enter fee but not even get the roof for protect from rain. The roof they provide is just a cheap material where rain can go through i don't see the point of putting this, it is just to block the air. There was very limited of shops so people have to line up for at least 30 people in each shop. This takes forever to wait for one food let a lone if you want to buy another food you gotta line up and wait forever with the that hot air. This is the worst market we have experience in Australia. We are very regret coming here to visit. They should have a shame for collecting the fee but provide very poor...

Quite a place with nice ambience and so many cuisines to try. Very chilled atmosphere and good vibes. Also live music with people around dancing to the music. It is a night market with mobile eatery counters each with variant cuisines. Being a South Indian (Malayali to be specific) I fell head over heels for the porotta and beef fry from an Indian counter here. Thought of testing authenticity of the dish by ordering one plate porotta and beef fry and ended up ordering it again and again. The porotta was nice and soft, beef was hot and spicy yet yummy. Had a Happy and content tummy experience. If you are someone who doesn't prefer spicy dishes,I should warn you that the beef fry is really spicy. But they had other dishes which are mild in spices as well. For dessert, had a waffle ice-cream and called it a day. Note : Its better to carry cash in hand as they have an entry fee of $3 and most of the shops doesn't accept cards. They do have ATM machines in the market, but they charge you pretty extra for cash...

Dave and I visited last night and had a lovely time at the Marketta. I tried the Japanese chicken and salad from these vendors. It was mind blowing! So tender and crispy, delicious miso and chili sauce, super fresh salad. We also had a huge mixed plate of delicious Malaysian seafood noodles with other yummy bits and pieces. Reasonable price at $12. Oh, and before that, we had calamari from that vendor, with garlic aoli! Exceptionally good. We stayed 2 hours and headed home to doze through a movie on the sofa. Another very satisfying experience at the Marketta. 👍😀

Overall the food here is okay, but the master's of skewers stall was just attrocious. Firstly, we paid $15 for a $13.50 meal and was ripped off on change by the 9 year old in charge of the money. Secondly, 13.50 for that meal is overpriced. 1/3 of all 3 skewers were burnt to a crisp - beyond edible. And the amount of rice and vegetables with it did not come close to making up for it. Be aware of this stall if you go here. As for the others - they at least give you your change.
