Avoid Coles Taigum at all costs! I recently visited the Coles supermarket in Taigum to purchase some fresh vegetables for a healthy meal. However, I was dismayed to discover that the capsicum I bought was moldy on the inside. This was a disappointing and unsanitary experience, especially considering the reputation of Coles as a leading grocery retailer in Australia. Attached are photos of the moldy capsicum as proof of my experience. I strongly advise against purchasing produce from Coles Taigum, as you may encounter similar issues. If you live in the Taigum area or surrounds, I recommend taking the extra few minutes to travel to Aldi instead. Aldi offers better prices and higher quality produce, and you'll save yourself the risk of ending up with moldy or spoiled food. Overall, I rate my experience at Coles Taigum as 1 out of 5 stars. The store's poor quality control measures and unsanitary produce are unacceptable, and I urge customers to exercise caution when shopping there.

Warning to anyone driving near this store. Trucks that deliver to this store will cut you off at the intersection when you have the green light and they have a red light, in peak hour traffic. You will therefore get stuck waiting for the next green light, just so that their truck can push through as it's clearly more important than anyone else driving 🥴🤷🏼‍♀️

Whilst I tend to shop the specials at both Coles and Woolworths, Coles is generally my go to supermarket. Whilst I was in the area recently I dropped into Coles Taigum to grab some groceries. This is by far the worst Coles supermarket I've ever visited and the only one I've ever rated below four stars. So many products I normally buy from Coles were missing from this store, many of the specials were out of stock and those that were in stock had the items at the back of the shelf because it seems nobody pulls stock forward as customers buy the items at the front. With so many items, I had to reach to the back of the shelf to retrieve things, and I doubt customers under 6' would have been able to retrieve many items located at the rear of the top shelf. I had to literally get on the ground to retrieve items from the bottom shelf. Many bakery items were out of stock at 5:30pm and it's great to have nothing left at closing but from a customer perspective, it's pretty bad to have nothing at that time of day. Thankfully there's an Aldi in the vicinity and I spent the money there that would have gone into Coles till had the store been better managed. There were no reusable bags left in the self service area and I had to retrieve some from one of the staffed checkouts. Management at this store should all be more attentive to their departments. Bakery and grocery managers should be put on notice, as should the general manager, with whom the buck stops, especially with so many areas performing poorly. Pick up...

We were shopping in the store this morning and went through the self-serve checkout. When we approached the staff member about claiming our Harry Potter promotion, she grabbed the docket off us to check. She looked at the docket and then asked us, "Did you scan the bag?", to which my partner replied, "What do we need to scan the bag for?". Then her reply was "Have you scanned the other bag?". We said no (we were confused thinking we had to scan our shopping bags to get the Harry Potter promotion). And then she handed us the Harry Potter item.

We were perplexed. Was she accusing us of stealing the 2 Coles bags? And why didn't she just answer my partner's question about why we have to scan our bags? Then we could've explained that they are our bags and not new ones.

This just made our shopping experience in this store very frustrating and left us both annoyed. When a simple answer to my partner's question could have resolved any misunderstanding right...
