Fantastic range, sausages in particular. However it's out of our price range with weekly items such as bacon and chicken at double the price minimum when compared with other (non gourmet shall we say) butchers with no substantial taste difference, making the price hard to justify for us. We have also noticed the prices creeping up since they've grown in popularity over the last few years, so we can only afford to treat ourselves when a sausage of our liking is being made that week.Their service, culture and prices reflect the demographic of the areas of their two shops, it's smart business and proving extremely profitable, well done. For the rest of us, go and spoil yourself with something different when you have a little extra money to spare, you're sure to find a smile within the sausage range. Thank you...

Most meat from there is good, and staff are friendly. But, today I got a pork belly. I asked for one from the back fridge rather than the vacuum sealed stuff they have out the front. I’m really experienced at cooking pork belly, hence why I wanted a piece that’s not vacuum sealed. The moisture of vacuum seal will take 24-48 hours drying out, but a good fresh cut of pork belly should be good to go without needing to dry out.

It’s clear that I’ve been given something with a lot of moisture in it ( I’m guessing it was vacuum sealed even out of the back fridge). I could see tons of moisture coming off the fat after letting it stand and salting it. Crackling failed even at 280 c

If i could give less then 1 star i would. Worst experience in my whole entire life, the staff are rude and made me feel so uncomfortable.. Embarresed me when all i was trying to do was mind my own buissness and pick up some meat. Condesending, arrogant and awful men who work there. I honestly feel sorry for anyone who lives in the area and has to go to this place on the regular, DO NOT GO HERE. I hope this review reaches all future customers so they know not to bother. these people should choose another proffesion somewhere they belong because it isnt in the city. I will be looking at escalating my complaint further and be sure to tell my friends and family of this horrible encountour and to avoid...
