Stone and rock — Local services in Brisbane City

We went to Stone and Rock at Rocklea during the early planning stages of our bathroom renovations, the guy there was very gracious answering all our questions even though we weren’t at the purchasing stage just yet. Months later we went back and bought two sinks, service was prompt and we received a digital receipt. Just asked our builders to make sure our floating vanities were supported a bit more than usual as they’re quite weighty. They look great in our new bathroom! We got sinks that were polished on the inside but had that raw look on the outside. We have young children and knowing now that the raw finish on the outside shows every bit of toothpaste and is a bit harder to clean (needs a good brush over) I would have gotten the completely polished version. However, minor complaint and still love the completed look. Wish we could go back for a matching bath one...

The people were very helpful, prompt and had what I was after, when I placed orders with them the first few times. But when I ordered again via their website and paid for more, I phoned up to see whether the order was ready for pick up a few days later, I was told that the order was 4 weeks away and that they had no stock. When I told the person that their website said otherwise and that I was able to order them and that the turnaround was 48 hours, as stated on their site, he told me that if I wasn’t happy that I could get them elsewhere and he could give me a refund. I said I wasn’t happy with that and that they should update their supply on their website. 2 weeks later and they still are accepting payment for stock that they don’t have. Before paying while using the website , phone first to check if they actually have what you want. Quite rude...

I bought 2 for a dual vanity. Clicked 2 on the order form online asuming they'd give me 2 similiar. Instead I got a medium stone grey and a chocolate coloured one nearly double the size. Pretty sure they just got rid of unwanted stock sending me the choc one.

Emailed them asking what were my options, not demanding refund. After no reply called up and was told gotta send it back for $180.

I emailed again asking if I could use their courier and after a fortnite of no reply rang up and spoke to a warehouse guy who fobbed me off.

If anyone is going to get 2 make sure you buy 2 individually on the online form. I sucked it up and bought a 3rd. 2 star cos they are nice, but dont expect any service after the sale. And dont bother...
