I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gateway to India restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The owner Justin went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was exceptional, even providing a complimentary serving of their renowned butter chicken to help me discern the difference between it and the chicken tikka masala. The staff, without a doubt, deserve special recognition for their warm and accommodating demeanor.
From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff's friendliness immediately made us feel at ease and set the tone for the rest of the evening. Throughout the evening, they were attentive to our needs, promptly addressing any requests or inquiries we had. It was clear that the staff genuinely cared about making our dining experience enjoyable.
Now, let's talk about the food. The moment the butter chicken made its way to our table, the aroma alone was enough to whet our appetites. The dish was beautifully presented, and the taste was heavenly. The succulent chicken, perfectly cooked in a luscious buttery sauce, was an explosion of flavors. The owner's thoughtful gesture of providing us with this dish not only showcased the restaurant's commitment to customer satisfaction but also helped us appreciate the subtle differences between the two popular Indian dishes.
Gateway to India offers an extensive menu featuring authentic Indian cuisine that caters to a variety of dietary preferences, including vegetarian options. Whether you're a fan of flavorsome curries or aromatic biryanis, this restaurant is sure to satisfy your cravings.
Moreover, the ambience of Gateway to India was delightful, with well-appointed decor that exuded a warm and inviting vibe. The setting was perfect for a memorable evening with friends or a romantic dinner.
In conclusion, my experience at Gateway to India was nothing short of exceptional. The owner's generosity in providing us with complementary butter chicken, coupled with the friendly and attentive staff, truly made our visit memorable. If you're in the mood for delightful Indian cuisine, served with genuine hospitality, Gateway to India is the place to be.

Read moreI am struggling to write an appropriate feedback for Gateway of India-Brisbane for the most wonderful arrangement they provided for our daughter’s wedding reception. Being away from town, it was hard to chose and organize an event of this magnitude but Justin not only made it possible but very easy as well. To begin, Justin was communicating with us every bit of time and explaining to us every step. He provided us with friendly, frank and realistic advice, which made everything seem so easy yet grand. The décor and arrangements was grand and much better then we expected. The service started on time in a very orderly manner. The service staff were adequate, friendly, prompt, courteous and very professional. It was evident that the staff was adept at handling large gathering and making a great job of it. The crowning glory was undoubtable the food. The food was very very tasty, more then adequate, replenished on an timely basis. Each and every guest went home very happy and satisfied My favourite-Paneer pakora, fish pakora, Dal, Mixed vegetable and goat curry. Highly recommended. If you have any event big or small, go see Justin and give Gateway of India a go-no disappointment guaranteed. Well done Justin and...
Read moreI Got the chicken Vindaloo and the Butter chicken with two Cheese and garlic Naan beads to share with my 15 year old, very hungry Son. Both were ordered medium. This cost just under $40. Usually we buy two large Ultimate Burger box's with a few burger upgrades from KFC and this comes to about $29 ish, depending on the upgrades. Wanted something different this evening. Saw some very good review for this place and decided to give it a go. I've just moved into this area and i'm eager to find a Good Indian Restaurant. This is the second one that I have tried. It is the best so fare ( See review for Miss India). The portion sizes were great. My Son could not eat all of his share. The Vindaloo was quite Spicy (as it should be) and sitting at the top of my tolerance level (remember this was there medium). However not the best I've had, hence only 4 stars. The Butter chicken was Very good with mild spice, as a butter chicken should be. Up with the Best I've had. The service was friendly and the time they gave me for when the food would be ready for take away, was pretty accurate. All in all, this place will be hard to beat. I still have a few more in the area to try so we will...
