The experience at the sea food shop was absolutely dreadful. The moment I walked in, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant fishy smell that made me want to leave immediately. The staff seemed disinterested and unfriendly, providing minimal assistance when I asked about the menu. When my food finally arrived, it was a complete disappointment. The seafood was overcooked and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The presentation was sloppy and unappetizing, making it difficult to even take a bite. The prices were exorbitant for the poor quality of food that was served. Overall, I would not recommend this sea food shop to anyone. Popped into Triton today for a look as they’re at my local shopping centre. Just wanted simple fish and chips and they sure delivered! Old mate serving at the front was super friendly and convinced me to give the cod and chips special ($10.90 I think?) a go. Usually I’m not a cod fan. I chose the battered option and waited less than ten mins.

Received a beautifully presented (cardboard serving dish) and massive size of cod with a serving of perfectly fried chippies covered in generous chicken salt. A wedge of lemon on the side.

Honestly, I can’t recommend Triton Seafood enough. It’s my go-to every time I’m craving fresh seafood. The quality is consistently amazing everything from the prawns to the fish fillets is super fresh and full of flavour. You can really tell they care about what they’re selling.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful too. They greet you with a smile, remember their regulars, and are happy to give cooking tips or help you pick something if you’re not sure what to get. It just feels like a local place that really values its customers.
