Woolworths Carseldine — Local services in Brisbane City

I wanted to make a special mention to Denise one of the Managers at Woolworths Carseldine. Denise has made my shopping experience there amazing! I had a bad experience there with one of the team Memebers once and she just handled it so well and since then 4 months ago always had a chat and looks after my partner and I! Not to mention engages in conversations with me. I am 9 months pregnant and Denise always makes the effort to make me feel comfortable in store! She personally gave me flowers and a hug just to make me feel better’ now that is service’ this lady needs a raise! We need to welcome more team Members like this. I actually only come back because of her! We thank you for making Woolies great! I can’t wait for you to meet bub as she has been there from The beginnings! I only shop here because it is close to my house. Other than that the staff and service is really poor. There is no customer service at all. The attitude of the staff it seems is shop here or don't who cares - as long as their wage goes into there account why would they care. Tonight I went Sunday 27.10.24 close to 6 pm the closing time. I didn't know what the time was until I heard a young girl yelling at from down the isle ... you have to go the checkout now .. we are closed. I yelled back .. I haven't got my bread yet so when I have my bread I will go to the checkout. So rude !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't usually write reviews but feel compelled to do so regarding DORELLE at the Carseldine Woolworths check out. I have shopped here for over 5 years. Consistently Dorelle displays cheer and courtesy. She amazed me the amount of times she goes out of her way to remember things you've previously mentioned and check in on how you are. She is actually the only check out assistant that has turned getting your groceries into a memorable and personal experience. She is a complete asset to Woolworths and management should acknowledge this employee for creating such an outstanding service.
