After a change in career and subsequent change in lifestyle, I was lacking routine and motivation to exercise and eat healthily. The AirSpace 6-week challenge was the perfect kick to get me back into a healthy lifestyle (with exercise, diet, and sleep). The initial detox with the diet was fantastic, I felt infinitely more energetic and had the perfect excuse not to drink alcohol (which as a bartender, can be quite difficult). I was not used to such a structured routine but the support from both the trainers and fellow challengers was phenomenal. I felt like I was part of a community and if the other challengers could do it, so could I. I quickly went from being nervous about going to classes, to excited to get more exercise in. I had high expectations with my weight-loss journey and found very quickly that you get out, what you put in. I'm excited to already see results after just 6 weeks. I have already noticed such a change in my flexibility and strength. I have more energy and am sleeping way better. I'm excited to keep up the routine and see even more change. I'm really looking forward to trying out more of the classes and building on the techniques and strength that I've built thus far. I'm feeling much more confident and strong. The team were all so friendly, passionate and patient and the whole experience was much less intimidating once I actually got started. All coaches are highly qualified and experienced in modifying the exercises to suit different levels of fitness and personal goals. And it’s a great community, too. Everybody feels welcome, we cheer and support one another and celebrate improvements and achievements. I love that AirSpace has resident physiotherapists and sports massage therapists who teach some of the classes and do an amazing job in explaining what’s happening to our bodies when we stretch and exercise. Read moreThe Airspace 6 Week Challenge program has been amazing. It has forced me to acknowledge and confront my terrible eating habits (portion sizes, proportion of carbs/vegies/fats/protein, WAY too much sugar and chocolate, eating out too often) and take back control. Being held accountable through the program has given me the motivation to be controlled with my grocery shopping - no impulse buys - and my meal prep.
The Challenge classes have also been fantastic. They were definitely a challenge, but the trainers were great at encouraging everyone to dig deep and keep going. At the end of the six weeks I can see a difference in my body, but more importantly I feel differently. I feel strong and healthy...
