Argery's Quality Meats — Local services in Logan City

Even though I live in Rockhampton, every time I’m in Brisbane I make a special trip to Argery’s Meats — and I buy as much as I can carry on a plane or pack into Eskies and car fridges when I drive. Their prices are consistently 20–30% cheaper than what I pay in Rockhampton, and the quality is outstanding.

It’s ironic that Rockhampton is known as the Beef Capital, yet here you pay top dollar for less-than-medium quality. Argery’s, on the other hand, delivers top-tier produce every time.

Their service is impeccable — nothing is too much trouble. They’ll happily prepare custom orders, individually cry-vac anything you want for the freezer, and make sure it’s ready for quick defrosting. Argery's Quality Meats which is located within Chatswood Central Shopping Centre (across from Woolworths) is seriously the best butcher i've ever been to. The customer service is 10/10! Super friendly and efficient. I'm no chef at home so its nice to have a local butcher that not only does excellent quality meat, but also does oven ready meals! They also have really amazing dog treats such as pig ears, roo tails, pork marrow bones and normal frozen dog bones. I have a picky German Shepherd and he LOVES these treats!! They even sell dog mince! I personally love the Smokey Chicken Parmi and Gourmet Burgers! The staff are always happy to tell me how to cook the meat which i really appreciate as i do not know these things.

Every Friday, we have a BBQ for our friends and family, either T-Bone, Tomahawk, or some lamb cutlets. They lovely people at Argery's have been looking after me for months now. I've gone to other places now and then, and I find myself getting a little disappointed. The price is the same as a supermarket, and the quality is as good as you're going to get in Logan, Brisbane City, or the Gold Coast. I know, I've tried a few times. I like the fact they are closed one day a week because it let's me know that at least they wash down and clean at least once a week. As I write this, it's a Saturday and I know I shouldn't, but I'm going again right after breakfast and getting something I was eyeing off...
