Happy new year! I really appreciate the relaxing atmosphere, clean and icy water, beautiful bay views, soft sand and the chilly cold winds from the sea here under the hot sun on New Year’s Day, a summer day in Australia. I love this beach, my kids love it and the cafe that's there makes an amazing chai latte and vegie burger!

There is also quite a bit of shallow water for young kids to play in, I find the sand to be a little dirty but so much better then some other places.

Was there for good Friday and it wasn't overly packed either, usually when I go during the week it's nice...
