Absolutely loved my experience at Brown Rice!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lighting is dim and calming, the chairs are super comfortable, and the whole space just feels cosy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal.

The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish we ordered was a hit.

A special shoutout to Joe, one of the staff members, who truly made the experience extra special. He was incredibly soft-spoken, kind, and attentive. His caring nature and gentle manner really stood out and made us feel so looked after.

Customer service overall was top-tier. You can tell the team here genuinely cares about your dining experience.

Haven’t been to brown rice for about two years and I have noticed such a change - almost like there has been a complete change in management and staffing The service used to be outstanding!!! Almost like you were treated like royalty haha but now it’s quite the opposite. Nobody even asked us if we wanted a drink. The heater was set on 27 degrees and I had to ask someone for water about twenty minutes after I arrived. Waitress seemed very unhappy to be there. Food although flavoursome and had heaps of vegetables. but hardly any meat (could count on one hand the small strips of chicken in a whole stir fry. . As a bit of a food buff I don't write reviews unless there is a reason or message, and here it is one of great joy. Brown Rice must be (and admittedly I haven't tried them all, yet..) up with the absolute best of Thai restaurants in all of Melbourne if not Victoria. Firstly, the presentation is 12/10, they raise the bar for garnishing, the meals are so beautifully presented it's almost a crime to eat it. You just want to stare and soak it in. Yet when you finally do eat, the quality of taste and flavour washes over you in a tsunami of delight. Soo exceptionally tender and tasty.
