The Nook: Toasties & Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

Location is beautiful , near the beach. Plenty of street parking available. Cafe had a nice interior and vibe however 4 of us walked in and ordered small counter meals which took 50 minutes for them to prepare 2 burgers and 2 pork rolls. This would normally be accepted in a cluttered restaurant full of people ordering meals but we were the only customers to have ordered food during that time whilst a few patrons entered who had ordered coffees.

I also was locked in the bathroom as the doorknob was quite old and the latch would no longer unlock.

This cafe is not baby friendly , they had no high chairs and because it was so small inside the manager moved our pram to the back of the cafe

Food (when it came) and coffees were delicious, staff were friendly and welcoming however would be noted to pick the pace up or have more people...

I had the worst experience of buying coffee from here in the morning. Worst customer service, very rude attitude, and had to wait 10 minutes for a cup of coffee. The kid behind the counter served me my coffee after ten minutes without anyone ahead of me and worst part it was very cold. I asked him nicely to make it a bit hot. He made me a new one but once again it was worst than the previous one. Honestly I didn't bother to tell him again and spill the coffee down the drain. Excellent experience! As locals we're always out and about grabbing coffee's and brunch in the neighbourhood and it's safe to say this is our new fav!!! Best coffee I've had and the food was made with love and delicious. We had an egg bacon muffin, breaky burger and spinach roll and it was all DELICIOUS!
