Gippsland Premium Meats — Local services in Melbourne

Regular customers here but I think I may have just been overcharged for chicken breast. Just went in as store was closing so unable to head back now. $15.99 for chicken breast. Got home and weighed the chicken. I bought 2.65 kilos. That x $15.99 = $42.37 whereas I paid $53 odd. Will be bringing back chicken tomorrow for confirmation of weight and price.

Update: really impressed with the service. Explained the above discrepancy to Hank and he was kind and resolved the issue very quickly by refunding me what I overpaid....

Amazing quality of meat, very knowledgeable staff with exceptional service. Don’t let bad reviews turn you away as it’s un-educated idiots not knowing how to cook their meat properly and not asking the staff for the appropriate meat for their style of cooking. I buy most of my meat from here every week, great quality. Can be a little pricey but well worth it. Their BBQ pack options are perfect and make the stress of buying enough meat no worries. Staff are friendly and happy, when I am there with a trolley most of the time will come hold the door for me. When my kids are there they always say hi and offer them a lollipop.
