As well as being staffed (Monday to Friday - 6.30am until 9.00am), Glenhuntly Railway Station, on the Frankston line, has good facilities including MYKI machines, public phone, lighting, public toilets, plenty of seating and an indoor sheltered waiting area that provides protection against inclement weather. It also has parking for some 175 vehicles which is free and this includes wheelchair accessible parking, and some, but limited, bicylce racks and lockers.

However, while the car parking may be adequate during the weekend, if you're not in by 7am during the the working week then you'll most likely miss out on a spot. The new Glenhuntly station is a big upgrade and has improved the traffic and train flow immensely, as well as reduced delays from slow crossing tram tracks. The station concourse is very tastefully designed, with some unique flair that is absent from a lot of the other LXRP stations. My main issue is the lack of a northern entrance, as the platform is located north of the access from the concourse, a huge missed opportunity for pedestrian flow.
