Thought I share my experience for the first time shopping here and said to myself I give this business a go. I must say their well overpriced on the meat and and chicken as well as other stock in the store. When I told the lady at the counter the prices Marcato IGA in Thomastown are cheaper, she looked at me like dumb founded and said I don't have to be rude about it. Who's being rude? All I'm saying is the truth I replied. Never have I been disrespected by any staff member where I've shop like this lady and I had to ask for my receipt. Serious note, As for the butcher area swearing loud and for the elderly women standing there is quite rude frankly. Show a little of respect. Oh by the way, if I wanted chicken skin with my Ribs, I would of ask for it. Ok

I purchased this ciabatta loaf today at Gran Monte’s and it was the worst bread I’ve ever purchased. It doesn’t have a date when it was baked nor when used by, it was that hard and old that you couldn’t even give it to the birds you’d have to soak it for a week, and it isn’t the first time this has happened. They’re not doing the brand justice by selling it days old, and if they’re going to sell it days old, they need to reduce the price so the customer knows they’re not paying full price for old bread. They say the bread is fresh everyday NOT TRUE. When the bread is fresh it’s actually really nice.

Santino's Delicatessen in Lalor, Victoria, has a very good range of Italian related products, along with a great selection of Cheese, cured Meats and a quality Butcher.

However, sadly, the other day, I simply wanted to buy a 250gram tin of Kimbo Gold Italian ground coffee, for $6.50, using my PayWave Debit Card. However, middle aged woman wouldn't allow me to use my Card. She said it was a $30 minimum, even for PayWave. I told the women to keep the Tin of Coffee and I'll go elsewhere.

Frankly, Customer Service is everything.

This woman even kept the one aisle available waiting so she could stack empty boxes. The person at the front of line asked for the woman to attend to the line of Customers and the woman took her time about attending to the Customers.

I now go to IGA at Fawkner who have a good selection of delicatessen products and they are closer to...

I went into Santino this morning and was looking for a vinegar my mother in law had recommended and sent me a photo of. I was looking at the picture on my phone and trying to locate it on the shelf. No luck so I proceeded to get the item I needed. I was then approached by a male worker (manager/owner I'm guessing) accusing me of taking photos because his workers told him. I initially said no sorry it wasn't me but then realised I did have my phone out but not to take photos. So I felt like I had to explain why I had my phone out. Very rude! I felt so uncomfortable and felt like I was being accused of something serious....
